what do you think of the story of Countess Erzsebet (elizabeth) Bathory or aka the blood countess.and would you say she was a vampire or just a creep? i think she not a vampire unless she drank the blood.

The mother gave birth to a son and a daughter and wish that the daughter could see farther was beautiful and the son was strong and handsome. Somebody cursed the daughter to be lame and the son to be blind. So the siblings traveled to a witch evading dangerous obstacles and were granted what they wanted most so long as they didn't show expression . The daughter wanted to walk but was shocked to be walking and then became lame again. The son wanted to see and when he saw all the beauty around him he was shocked and became blind again. The siblings cried and the witch having a cold heart felt pity and became a good. What is this fairytale called?

alright so my friend kayla told me this morning in english that some prophet guy in britain said there was going to be an alien invasion this week, and everyone believes him because he's never been wrong with a prediction.

she said she wasn't kidding, and told me to look it up when i got home, but i can't find a thing on it, although other people i've asked have somehow heard about it too from their friends.... but nobody really knows where it originated.

anyone know what this is about? is it true? has anyone else heard about it??? is it like a local hoax or something? i know it all sounds silly but please take this seriously.thanks.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any butterfly myths or folklore. I know the one about the Japanese think that butterfies are reincarnits and if they enter into your house it's good luck (as long as there aren't to many, then thats a bad omen) but I was wanting to know some more.

I have a very strong intuition. It has helped me in tons of things. The only problem is that its very difficult to control. Does anyone know how to use it at will ,or if this is even possible? I know meditation works well, but I don't want to have to do a meditation every time I want to use it like in school.
