I really enjoyed the book "Vampirates" it's about pirate vampires. Twins get washed out to sea and get split up. The dude gets picked up by real pirates. The girl by vampirates. She meets this really hot, deep vampire named Lorcan. It was a very good book. I couldn't put it down.

def. get teh anne rice novels...including stories like interview witha vampire..queen of the damned..the vampire lestat...the tale of the bloody thief....memnoch the devil...the vampire armand....merrick...blood and gold...blackwood farm.. and blood canticle. absolutely fabulous books on vampire stories. each one is more about a specific vampire but there arent all new characters in every book its all mostly one big storie divided into different biographies of each vampire. you will love them!
