I have a very strong intuition. It has helped me in tons of things. The only problem is that its very difficult to control. Does anyone know how to use it at will ,or if this is even possible? I know meditation works well, but I don't want to have to do a meditation every time I want to use it like in school.

The problem is that I have a VERY analytical mind, so it is hard to just focus on it with the rest of my mind analyzing everything it says. It is also hard to sort out intuition from just plain thoughts.

When I say I have an analytical mind I mean I think to much.

I don't think you control intuition, I think choose to ignore intuition or act on intuition. Start by asking yourself about:
the source:
"how do I know that?"
"am I picking up on clues?"
"am I remembering something that I heard in the background but I wasn't concentrating on? (I am ADD and that happens a lot.)
the impact of the intuition if you change your normal response:
"how does knowing this information change things?"
"if I use this information to . . . the results would be . . . --is this a good or poor outcome?"
"what's best for me in this situation?"
" what's best for others in this situation?"
"if I am wrong, what would the consequence be & does it come at a price?"
Honestly, I don't think you ever want to totally block your intuition. It can warn you of dangers.

I think you are halfway there. The back of your mind or the part you can not hear is the big part of intuition. It is helpful to concentrate on your ego and desires. Ask yourself questions that direct you to your opinion or memory of things you like. It is helpful to see it as a game or to be more playful. There are some great books about intuition. And to ask a question like this one is another way to access or focus on your intuition. Good luck.

Classical Jungian conflict. You are, as you mentioned, deeply rational. Intuitions come to you and you try to dissect them and use them to do your bidding, as a rational person tends to do with pretty much everything they encounter.
Intuitive are another type entirely. They rely more on faith, gut feeling, etc... and don't fell that need to dissect and analyze.
There's nothing to say you can't develop your intuition, but you're going to have to do it as an intuitive. In other words, learn to go with the flow and not always question everything. Trying to 'control' your intuition is going at it the wrong way, because intuitives don't think in terms of 'control'. They're more 'go with the flow' people.

Hello,
The best way to bring Instant Clarity of Thought and Receptivity is simply...Just say "HU"
It's simple and uses sound.
It's called the HU and goes like this - HU like hue - HUUUUUUU.
The HU technique can be utilized to help people reduce anxiety, stop nightmares, insomnia and get centered.
The HU retunes our body in the way one would tune a piano.
The HU Technique goes like this:
Sit for a moment eyes open or closed.
Begin to sing the word HU (hue) - (silently or outloud)
Breathe in deeply and chant HU on the exhale.
Do this for 1-20 minutes.
How and Why does the “HU” actually work?
Well, it’s simply a matter of Quantum Physics…
When we HUuuuu, we set-up and electro-magnetic field around ourselves that vibrates at a certain frequency
Quantum physics states that everything in the known universe vibrates at its own frequency(Quantum signature).
The negative emotions of "FEAR", Anger, sadness, depression and tension all vibrate at the lower end of the spectrum.
Let's say we place all emotions on a scale of 1_______________________________10.
The negative emotions cluster around the 1 to 3 or lower end of the scale.
The emotions of Joy, compassion, and Love cluster around the high end of the scale (7 to 10). Neutrality is a 5.
Our electro magnetic field(Aura) normally protects us from negative emotional attacks if we are able to stay Positive, neutral and Loving in the face of the onslaught.
However, if we are frazzled, anxious or unhappy, this lowers our defenses and electro-magnetic shields and we can get hit with the surrounding negative emotions.
So, here's where the HU comes in.
We immediately create a positive and strong force field that re-tunes our aura from the inside out.
This frequency adjustment protects us from all negativity and radiates out to others to creating peace and harmony.
This is simply a matter of physics - we control within ourselves and our surrounding environment.
An aside - Historically speaking...
It's an ancient name for God, that is over 5000 years old. It was used by the Egyptians, Druids, Sufis and Christians.
The Oxford English Dictionary states, that the word "God" can be derived from the Sanskrit word "HU."
Christian Gregorian Chant of 900A.D., Sufi Mystic Saints of Tibet, ancient practice of Daoism, ancient Druid history approximately 4000 years ago and even Eckankar today, talk about the word HU as being the originating sound of the universe.
Cheers,
Nicole

Feelings arise from thoughts, and thoughts can be controlled. What do you feel is the source of your intuition? That may be an important question to answer. It may be difficult to use it like a tool, though.

It wouldn't be intuition if you could control it. You will learn, with experience, how to hone the skill.

Just pay attention to it. The more you do, the louder it gets. Practice noting it even if you don't have time to meditate. It'll come.

First you get a VCR, and wait for the video to come out on MTV. Once it comes on, you can record it. That way you can stop it, fast forward it, or rewind it.
