Thanksgiving

It's the week before Thanksgiving and when I do my shopping for the week, I end up getting sliced turkey for my sandwich meat for the week. It's like my mind just forgets when Thanksgiving is every year. I don't mind, I love turkey, but I guess I'm just one of those stereotypical guys with the short term memory.

Every year, we have leftover Turkey so we just put it in the freezer.We kept it frozen too long so the meat did not taste good anymore and we had to throw it away; i feel bad to waste food so i would like to know other ways to fix leftover Turkey from Thanksgiving.

I always thought Thanksgiving was the last Thursday in November as declared by President Lincoln (October 3, 1863). Why is that different this year?
