Homemade is soooo much better, I know it's a pain, but well worth it.

We have to make both because the grandparents and other older people prefer the homemade dressing and the younger usually like the stove top turkey stuffing. Its not too hard to make the dressing all you need to do is buy some biscuits ( I use butter me nots) bake them let them sit to the stage where you can crumble them, make a cake of cornbread or corn bread muffins and allow them to cool and harden so you can crumble them. Crumble these together into a bowl, chop a stalk of celery and a few leeks(onions) if you like, crack a raw egg,add a bag of pepperidge farms stuffing mix, some sage and mix all together. Pat into a pan, add a few tablespoons of butter to the mixture and bake at 350 for about 30-40 minutes.
Or just buy a few boxes of Stove Top Turkey stuffing and follow the directions, lol.

BOXED!!!! Heck - I used to eat it straight out of the box for a snack. I'llk take that stuff any day over the homemade stuffing. I haven't had comparable homemade from anyone in all my years living!

I ALWAYS make my OWN Stuffing -- the box stuff just doesn't taste 'right'. You know, even though I was a long term single parent, I just took the time to MAKE The Stuffing myself because it was the one thing that MY children liked!

Want an easy way of making homemade stuffing?
Use croutons, Melba toast, and Ritz crackers, butter, dried cranberries, dried black currants, and chopped almonds.
