Every year, our family plays the white elephant game...I was number 3 and nobody wanted to steal my gift..it was a candle and bath salts that smell like vanilla but others got like Starbucks gift card and cold hard cash so I felt jipped. Today I did a gift exchange with my friend. I got more bath stuff and a wallet I don't really need. I am thinking of wrapping that and giving it to this one girl I am ok friends but I bought her this cute shirt. I kinda want to keep the shirt and give her the bath stuff and wallet. Is that wrong? It makes me feel bad asking this because I know its wrong but I want something I like too =(

He thinks she should leave home and rent an apartment closer (10 miles) to school to get the experience of being on her own. She doesn't have her tutition money for next year so she took out a loan. She got a guy room mate to share expenses. What's wrong with this picture? Her boy friend said he'll break up with her if she doesn't do it.
I think this whole thing stinks. He'll be giving her ultimatums for anything that he wants her to do.

I have no plans, and I am in Chicago. I would like to go to a big party, (but not a sports bar), where there will be a lot of people. Is it too late? Any suggestions (intelligent ones) would be appreciated.

this is for a (late )christmas present.. i bought some ferroro rocher chocolate for my friend. it was cheap and i don't feel comfortable just giving her chocolate.. i only got it cause i had no clue what to get her and she loves chocolate and candy. and it just seems too bland to give her just a small bell shape rocher chocolate. is there any ideas i can add to give with the chocolate? a budget of around maybe $10?

I consider myself a chrisian, however, I'm not too keen on Christmas. Being bought up in a church that believed we should be silent where the bible is silent and act when the bible says act, I can't quite come to terms with celebrating a holiday the bible doesn't tell us to celebrate. If you read the bible, it doesn't tell us to clebrate any religious holidays. In fact the only thing the bible says about gathering in His name is on the first day of the week to break bread. Am I the only one who feels that Christmas is simply, just a reason to party and for the big and small retailers to make money and put more of us in debt?
