I love ppl calling each other names. Maybe you are seeing just one side... coz when blacks are called nigas,.. whites are callled pig skins! I am an Indian & ppl would call me a brownie,.. some of us are chocolate brownies & some are coconut brownies.
Right now you see it as racial,.. but it is also in terms of religons, social class, work etc...
The fact is that this is just part of nature.. if your on the top, u will try and subdue ppl below you & if u are at the bottom u will try to cause an upheavel to be at the top. This is the way humans & nature works. Sure it would be nice if all ppl would be calm & nice.. but then if everything was calm & nice we would never evolve. It is only when we are pushed in the water that we will try to swim.. if you are strong you come out victorious & if you are weak you perish. It is natures way of ensuring that only the best move ahead,.. to take on new challenges & expand the boundries of mankind in the universe.
Expalinging it scientifically speaking.. try & understand this,.. the universe has been growing after the big bang... this growth is fueled by entropy,.. an energy which basically is associated with chaos or movement. When molecules are not in a chaotic state they store this energy in the form of enthalpy. But it is not enthalpy but entropy that helps the universe expand & grow.
This same universal principle applies to mankind as well.
In a more relative example... have you ever worked with old people.. the old people who are active & work.. live longer & happier than those who just relax.. it is entropy again, it keeps your will to live longer going.
Name calling is a mere form of expression of entropy in which you want to put your voice ahead of someone elses. It is just that.
Dont worry so much about it. Convert the enthalpy within you to entropy & do some good to the progress of mankind.

It's double standards. I personally think it's so juvenile it's almost laughable to hear grown adults calling each other names. That is just hilarious to me. I've been called cracker. I guess it was supposed to offend me but it didn't. As long as were thinking juvenile here let's remember this little diddy....sticks & stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me. Unless you let them.

You need to relax, its only a word. If that really offends you, grow up. If someone called me a name because of my color, i would be happy with it because i like who i am, if i called you a female would you get pissed??? I guess i just don't understand somethings. Have a good day at work.

African people are always complaining about what the white people did to them. what about what we are doing to them right now. i am African American and although what some of us are doing to you right now cannot compare to what some other white people did long ago, it was not your fault. you aren't even pure European. so, i agree that no one should be subjected to that kind of pain. i also think that since people of the African American persuasion suffered soooo much, that they would think twice about doing that to some Innocent people that had nothing to do with our past problems. I'm so sorry.

You're so right. We shouldn't use epitaphs to describe the "misfits" (pardon the expression) of the world.

i see. i understand, that sucks. i hate that feeling, unfortunately prejudices will always exist, and in some way, many ppl will be prejudiced in many ways at any time, but it bites.

my mother is adopted, and we have darkish skin ,but we don't know her history @ all. ppl @ taco bell try to tell me my change in Spanish b/c they think i look like that but i am not, and i don't like it.

ah love, i feel your pain. see, discrimination comes from everywhere and everyone. you can't stop them, but you can choose not to do what they do. you'll make it better, at least, for the people you're around.
