A no fail gift is to get a cute mug (which can be found anywhere. We picked a nice one up at a dollar store and gave it as a gift and the lady absolutely loved it) for the person and maybe fill it with some tea bags, hot chocolate mix, coffee packets or little candies. Then you can put it in a small basket (or not if you don't have a basket) and wrap it with clear plastic and tie the top with some ribbon. Voila! You've made your own gift basket without breaking the bank!

If she loves chocolate, why not skip the ferroro rocher and buy her a five-pound box of Russell Stover or Whitman's assorted chocolates instead? Or give her the rocher chocolate and get her a box of assorted flavored coffees or teas. Starbucks has a nice assortment for around $9 or $10. There are many items on sale after Christmas, so maybe you can give her one of those gift boxes of bath products for around that price. Walmart has some really nice gift assortments on sale. I was there today, and most of their gift sets are half price, and weren't very expensive to begin with. In fact, a lot of their items are on sale. Check the clearance aisles. They also have some nice fresh flowers or plants, but stay away from the wilted poinsettias. Good luck!

Give a gift basket with some things that go well with chocolate ... peanut butter or something a little more exotic like hazlenut butter, and maybe some oranges. Fresh oranges go really well with chocolate. Another idea which I did this holiday season was to give the chocolate with marshmallows and graham crackers to make s'mores. And I learned that you can microwave a s'more in 5 seconds! You could do a gift basket with some or all of these things, and your friend will love it.

If she loves chocolate, you might personalize the gift a little by adding a really cute mug & a couple envelopes of gourmet hot chocolate, available in better grocery stores or most coffee houses-- a mini Chocolate Basket! put some nice tissue or clear wrap & a ribbon around it and you're all set.

Chocolate goes well with coffees and teas. A good book to curl up with on the couch while eating those delectables is also nice, or a CD of soothing tunes.
