With Christmas over I am getting ready for the New Years celebration. I am getting the confetti, party hats..,etc. We usually watch Dick Clark New Years on ABC(I hope he is better so he can host the show longer this year). We also eat both black eyed peas and greens for good luck for the new year. I was wondering if anyone had any traditions for New Years and what they usually do on New Years.

Pretty much every person I know gives or receives these hugely expensive gifts...iPods, computers, televisions, Wiis, xbox, playstation, dvd sets...In my family, for birthdays and holidays etc, we get maybe 20 dollars or something around that price range. And I'm perfectly fine with that actually, I'm not jealous at all..I'm just wondering, how in the world does everyone afford all that?
