Last year I made 5 out of which I succeeded only one, I became a kind person. This year I'm making every attempt to followup all. I'll try to be a honest person, self-respecting, give my friends stiff completion and increase my friend circle. How are they? Will I be able to succeed.

Many years ago I made a new year resolution. It was to not make any more new year resolutions. And I've stuck to it.
And there's a point there. Most are broken, and soon, because they're made because it's new year rather than because you're determined to change something in your life.
If you really are determined to change something in your life then do it straight away - don't hang around for an arbitrary date. And set targets and have a decent plan for going about it.
If you're not determined to change something, then why bother making the resolution?
There's an old saying we've all heard: today is the first day of the rest of my life. That's true every day; there's nothing really special about new year's day so don't get hung up about dates, concentrate on things that matter.

- get myself back to 12 st by the end of April & then maintain it ( weigh 14 st 7 Lbs at the moment )
- start a family

- by November have the start of a 6 pack stomach abs
- at any point in the year to stop drinking alcohol for 3 months twice throughout 2007
- not eat any potatoes or potatoes based product for 3 months... again twice in 2007

New Year's Resolution! For me, this doesn't make sense since i was in nursery until i graduated in college this was only a strategy use by lazy teachers to buy some time to prepare their lesson plans. But i have some effective name to call it. It's " To be accomplished." It doesn't work for me anyway.
