Now, alot of people have different views on this, and thats why I want you to answer. Should people use the word Christmas or Holiday to describe this season? What do you use? Give a reason why!
Thanks.

Christmas is a time for childern, its a time for them to laugh and play and be amazed. It started down under when Santa was asked not to say Ho ho ho. To loudly or around women that spread to a mall in the USA. Now the surgon general has declaired Santa is a bad roll model becuase he's to fat. And should lose weight. Whats next for the jolly old elf maybe we should just pack him up and put him on a shelf and cancell christmas. Foreget the tree's the decorations and turkey. And simply come up with a plain old boring PC and healtly holiday. Then all so called PC and health watchdogs would be happy until they find a reason to bi## and complain once more.

I view Christmas as a time when family can get together to celebrate. It's a time when there's a good feeling all about. The stores have sales (even if they make big money, it's just business, it's what they do, sell). There's decorative lights everywhere. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love how the mood in the air is. The "spirit of Christmas" is all around. People are nice to each other. Friends give each other gifts.

I don't view Christmas as a religious holiday. It may have been started out as one, but that's not the true meaning of Christmas today. Traditions change. In truth, December 25th isn't even the birth date of Jesus Christ (who may not have even been a real person). His real birth date (if he lived) was in March. People get too carried away with religious at times. No one sits down to think logically about it.

Christmas is a time of sharing joys. Don't ruin that by involving religion into it.

Any mall. The people who crowd the aisles trying to peddle $500 hair straightners and $300 dead sea salt scrubs and whatever else. They drive me CRAZY!! They waste my time. If i was interested in their product, I would approach them. I do not need them walking beside me telling me about their product. Does anyone else feel this way?!

I live 300 miles from them and don't see them very often!!! I just had a baby 3 weeks ago, and I am on a tight budget for Christmas this year. So what would be a good gift under $20.00?

FYI: I have only met her once, so I am at a complete loss...

Thanks in advance...

Last year we were asked to go to a relative's home for Christmas eve dinner.. she wanted to host it, but she asked everyone to pay $20 each. Was this rude and tacky or what? What would you do if you were hosting Christmas eve?

My niece is 2 years old and I'm trying to keep them all in the same price range. Around $20-$30. But I am clueless as to what to get her. She doesn't really show interest in anything but her older sister's toys, but they are all "big girl" toys and she can't play with them. What would be appropriate?

I need some ideas about what to get my wife for Christmas. Honestly, she doesn't want for much. I am the worst at shopping for clothes. She doesn't wear jewelry. She has pretty much everything a person could want and she says she doesn't want anything for Christmas. Or, she doesn't know what she wants. I gave her $1,000 to just blow on whatever she wants. But I want to get her some actual wrapped gifts to open Christmas morning.

What's hot this year and does anyone have any recommendations. She is in her mid 30's. I would appreciate serious answers and no sexual or inappropriate reference.

I took a pair of my grandmother's beads ( she passed away a few years ago ) and restrung them with some more beads and a cameo pin to make a new pendant for my mother for christmas. Is this a bad thing to do? If not, should I pair something else with it? Like a poem or a framed picture of my grandmother? Thanks in advance!
