Christmas is a time for childern, its a time for them to laugh and play and be amazed. It started down under when Santa was asked not to say Ho ho ho. To loudly or around women that spread to a mall in the USA. Now the surgon general has declaired Santa is a bad roll model becuase he's to fat. And should lose weight. Whats next for the jolly old elf maybe we should just pack him up and put him on a shelf and cancell christmas. Foreget the tree's the decorations and turkey. And simply come up with a plain old boring PC and healtly holiday. Then all so called PC and health watchdogs would be happy until they find a reason to bi## and complain once more.

Hate to tell you this, but I saw attempts to get Santa to stop saying ho ho ho over eight years ago here in the US. And lets forget what the surgeon general has to say about Santa, anyone else remember the surgeon general's declarations in the mid-90s where they came out saying this particular type of food was bad for you. Then a week later they'd so "No sorry, I was wrong last week. That's actually good for you it really this type that's bad." As my dad would say, the doctors are all still practicing medicine cause they have yet to figure out how to get it right.

Geez I'm sure when Santa started delivering presents to the little children of the world, ho ho ho probably wasn't offensive it probably wasn't even a word yet... Now it's different than Santa saying ho, ho, ho and some random stalker guy yelling it at you... In my opinion. I mean if there is a department store santa and he says that I am never offended, because there's a big difference between insults and laughter..... They're opposites!
But santa being fat... Umm it's from all those cookies duh it's not like little kids are going to want to eat everybody's food or anything!

Santa says ho ho ho saying that is wrong is like saying "I hate people that laugh funnny" they just don't get it. it is not meant to be offenive so any one who find it offencive must be guilty of doing somthing. Now with the too fat thing have you ever heard of a skinny snata. Of course not he is meant to be that way. Santa needs to stay the way he is becase the current image of santa is really well known and it is just somthing that they should not mess with.
Marry Christmas.

You keep being jolly for those kids! I really don't think those "PC " people you spoke of even care about this details, they just want something to change and they want it to change because they said so. There will always be parents who are on your side and definitely kids who will stand in line to tell you their wishes every year:
Merry Christmas!!!

EXACTLY what i think.
Taking "Fat" Santa away..is like telling kids to eat dirt..when a nice dinner is right in front of them.
idk what these ppl are trying to do.
STOP TRYING TO CONTROL EVERYTHING!
