You stated they already now, so every time they bring it up... Stop them and say "let me remind you I do not celebrate Christmas"

Just go with it girl! Accept what they give you and send a thank you note. I don't celebrate Christ's birth but do the santa thing just as a tradition. I've been out of the house 20+ years and they still haven't figured it out. Hey at least I still don't get sweaters living in Florida. LOL Just laugh and either give it away to someone who needs it. Or if you really like it , say thank you and accept it.
It's the giving to others even without the holidays that counts.

Christmas thugs are the worse! Every year they make others feel uncomfortable because we don't share their beliefs. I say, stop being so nice about it; they aren't. Don't be afraid to offend, they have been doing it for years. Scream from the top of your lungs, "I DON'T CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS!". That should accomplish two things: one, they would definitely know from your assertion that maybe you don't celebrate Christmas, and two, they would assume you're crazy and leave you alone. Happy holidays!

In a nice way, celebrate Christmas with them. You can celebrate the family gathering if you don't want to call it Christmas, be happy with your friends and family members.

I thik they do know you dont celebrate christmas. But they do celebrate, and part of their celebration is having you in their life which is why they wish for you to be included in the festivities. I am atheist, but I still celebrate with my family, you can celebrate the winter solstice

There is no harm joining them for the fun of the secular celebrations of Christmas. If they are asking you to join them for the religious parts, such as going to church, simply tell them politely thank you but no thank you. If they get pushy, tell them firmly they can observe their way and you will observe yours.

What's a matter? You don't like to party. Many non-Christians celebrate Christmas - it's a holiday - enjoy it.

i also dont celebrate it....hmmm I'm wondering why u dont is it for the same reason??
anyway what i usually just say is even though i appreciate the thought i would feel uncomfortable as it is against my beliefs and it would bother me. i hope you can understand this as i am sure there are things in my belief which you would rather not participate in and i would never try to make you unless you asked me.

Thats a hard one. It took a couple of years for my family to get it. There really is only one way and that is to be polite but straight and to the point. Hopefully they will finally get it
