First off great choice to give as a gift, second do both and just ask as you hand the fudge out...by all means pecan as your choice of nut....somebody else was right about the walnuts and brownies.

NO nuts at all...you would kill me lol. Even if you make some with, some without, the threat of cross contamination is too big to risk it! I would probably have to use an epi pen even if no nuts are in it, but you made some with them! The pop off the nut I dea is nice in theory, but people like me would die anyway.
Just for safty sake, I would make them all without. No one wants to go to the E.R. over the holidays! Maybe send along a little tag that says they are all nut free? That would be very thoughtful!

As an adult with the allergies, I can watch what I eat, but kids aren't as carful sometimes! Plus giving fudge they can't eat is kinda cruel when you think about it.lol

Any kind of nuts. I love fudge with nuts. Try some with walnuts and some with pecans. How about a mix? Hope they turn out!!

For serving at a gathering have both in case their are folks with nut allergies. If your giving as gifts I'd make sure there are no allergies in the family and if that isn't possible give without the nuts. I like pecans the best.

Most fudge is chocolate.

I prefer it with nuts. Pecans and walnuts taste the same to me.

I usually leave the nuts out if it is being given as a gift considering how many people suffer from nut allergys. You can used either nut or a combo of both they both taste really good in fudge. Good luck with making your fudge :)

Make both kinds (because some people allergic or don't like nuts and some can't eat fudge unless it has nuts)...and use walnuts.

With nuts. Fudge always tastes better with nuts, in my opinion. (: And half walnut, half pecan. I think both taste equally good.

I usually press a nut on top of each piece while it still a little warm, that way people can eat it as or pop the nut off. Also, it makes it look pretty.

I prefer no nuts- if you choose to make some with nuts for allergy reasons, please make sure to be very very careful about contamination- if you make them both at the same time and handle the nuts or the nutty brownies and handle the no nut brownies they are contaminated- you should make the ones with no nuts first, wrap them completely then make the ones with the nuts
