I am like a child when it comes to Christmas. He says it is for kids only and gifts too. He is a wonderful guy except for this.

What culture/country did egg nog originate from, or is derived from? And me, personally, the top two brands for egg nog, are Publix supermarkets brand, and Shenandoah's Pride brand.

I live in Singapore and for Christmas, my brother who I've never met before will be coming here to celebrate with us. I think he is 25 + years old. Here are some ideas I thought up: A Singapore photo frame with a picture of the family or a wallet with a picture of the family inside. What do you think I should get him? Any new ideas are welcomed. Oh and I might not know what he likes as I've never met him before. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to all!

If you were to attend a birthday party, and rather everyone giving the birthday person their gift... everyone gave their gifts to you instead...
How would you feel if you were the person the party was for,
and how would you feel if you was the guest that got the gifts?

1 warm fireplace
A handful of good friends
A sprinkling of Bing Crosby christmas music, etc...
describing the evening like a recipe:

my husband lost his job,and were trying hard to find something to make money, nothing yet and it's getting close to christmas and i'm so worried my little girl who is 4 she will wake up with nothing. we have been selling everything to just make our bills, to keep our home. and were to late for the angel tree in our area. if anyone know of anything it will be very grateful!
