Adopt an animal at the zoo. This way you get to go to a special dinner for the animal parents and you will be able to share the blessings. It will not only give you a gift but be of help somewhere that needs the help. You can also adopt an orphan. All you have to do is contact your local shelter, Dcfs office, or food pantry on ways to help some child not as fortunate as you. $80 will go a long way in making sure a child is fed and clothed properly for the new year. And you get joy in giving it.

If you can't think of anything, then you really don't need anything, wouldn't that be the logical answer? So why don't you try GIVING for a change?? Ask your parents to take you out to Target and see if they will let you go shopping and take the money they were going to spend on you to buy something for needy children. First of all, it's a ton of fun to shop for needy kids. Think of all the great dolls and games and trucks you can buy with $120.00. Not to mention, you are going to feel SO GOOD about yourself, it is going to absolutely make your Christmas, and Christmas for a lot of kids out there who normally wouldn't get a thing, as well. And if your real goal here is to get your parents to cough up the best present for you they can possibly find, think of your long term goals. Giving up your Christmas present to give a happy holiday to needy kids will make your parents think they have given birth to a true angel, and for your kind generousity, they just might buy you your own private island for your birthday.

Young lady you should be ashamed of yourself, you sound like you don't need anything else, I am an adult and don't have all of those toys. Instead of trying to think of something so expensive, try showing your folks that you are not becoming spoiled and ask for something that is not very expensive that you may really appreciate and have your mom take you shopping and spend that $80-120 on a child that will REALLY appreciate it because if not for you they won't have AN-NYTHING for christmas. Remember the holiday is not about getting it is about giving.

When I was your age, I ALWAYS asked for a gift certificate to The Gap, or Old Navy. Then you can buy something you really like. Personally I always wanted clothes...
Then again, you could ask for a Dooney and Bourke purse, they are wondeful and stylish and would be something most of your friends would not have. They start around $100.

Get an expensive lava lamp! I'm 14 too and that's what I bought for myself for Christmas. Go hunting online for a really nice one. It will set the mood in your room, make you much more relaxed, and provide you with extra light. Merry Christmas!!!!!!
