So i go up to her and say "Mom, i have an obbsession wath a video game called 'Kingdom Hearts' and i wanna be a guy from there for halloween" (She doesnt know i wanna cosplay but i get cloths together and do it but she thniks im weird when i dress what she calls randomly) So my mom walks away when i say that The next day i go to her and show a picture of Sora Again no reply I go to my grandmas house for some reason and we are in my grandmas car heres the convoration "So (my name here), what do u wanna be for Halloween?" "Well i wanna be something but my mom hasnt told me yes or no. It sounds like she doesnt want me to be it" "What is it?" "A video game charater named Sora. Its a guy though. I but i love his outfit. I would wear it alot too!" "Well when u see ur mom tomorrow we will ask why" So the next day my mom comes to my grandas house to biscuts. Heres the fraction about the costume. " So (moms name here) why cant (my name here) be the video game character?"OtherDown

I'm going to a Halloween party with my boyfriend. I'm going as a cute & sexy Strawberry Shortcake, heehee ;-D
My boyfriend couldn't find anything in the Halloween store that he likes so far, so he asked me to pick it for him.. Now of course, I'd want to get him something to match my costume.
I know he wouldn't want to wear any mask throughout the night, and would prefer something he can move around in. (So, no mask and no stuffy costume like a 'Banana' please - haha, he already rejected that idea!) Any idea what costume I should get him to go with mine? ;)

I saw a picture of a priest costume with an altar boy attached at the waist. I looked all over the internet and couldn't ifnd it.

I need an infant charlie brown costume or at least zig zag shirt. I've looked everywhere and can't find one or even a yellow shirt period. Does anyone know where I can find one. I need it for a baby--not adult or child (I've found those). Thanks! :)

It's approaching that Holiday time again. I display the Christmas Villages mainly Dept 56 and Lemax. Last year I started to decorate Thanksgiving Weekend and just didn't have enough time and thought I didn't do a good job. When does everyone else start displaying. I have about 40 buildings not including accessories and will be adding at least 10 this year. My family think anything earlier then Thanksgiving is to early for Decorating, but they don't understand the hard work.

okay so i was thinking of something to make for my boyfriend this christmas because i make him stuff all the time and i am running out of ideas. And what i was thinking about doing is making him like a quilt blanket..and i was going to put pictures of us on it.

i think i heard of getting material and putting photos on it..thats what i was going to do.

A friend of mine hosted a get-together yesterday, but forgot it was Canadian Thanksgiving. We still had a decent turn-out because half the guests did dinner on Sunday and the other half were Jewish and didn't celebrate. It never occured to me that Thanksgiving was religious (I think Halloween is MORE religious than Thanksgiving.) It doesn't make sense to say that it is supposed to be a multi-generational Canadian thing (i.e. British or French stock) because Chinese restaurants in the Toronto area (and I suppose Vancouver area too) will make turkey to order, complete with Chinese stuffing (sticky rice w/ mushrooms) Do some believe it is religious, even though it isn't?

We are having a Halloween party with about 40-50 kids in our basement. There's gonna be a dance floor and we are trying to get some CD mixes. I'm a Christian and don't believe in celebrating in any part of Halloween since it pretty much celebrates all things evil. Every part is rooted in pagan tradition.
But honestly.. I don't want to make a big deal about it.
My co-workers want to decorate, get dressed up and have a Halloween party on the day of. I just started working here.
So even though I stand firm on my beliefs I don't think people should impose their beliefs on others.
And I don't want to come off as self-righteous.. Which I know if I was in their position I would feel that way.. I know cuz I was in thier position years ago.

So how do I keep true to my beliefs without coming off as self-righteous?
