I love them! I have been buying them in a store all summer long and now its time to do a little home cooking.

Take the fresh pumpkin seeds out of the pumpkin. Rinse well, removing all the strings. They will be slimy, that's okay, it'll cook.
Spread the seeds out on a baking sheet and drizzle with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt. Roast in a hot oven, about 400, 10 minutes or until most of the seeds are golden brown but not burnt. Keep checking them if you're not sure.
Excellent healthy snack that can be toted around in a baggie. They contain protein, iron, and fiber.

Well, of course!
My little girls love 'em. We bought two pumpkins this year- both huge, as usual. ;) One's a kitty cat, and the other is a surprised girl with yarn for hair.
