We would normally have a cake/gathering during the afternoon. But as our co-worker will be fasting. It just doesn't seem right for us to have a cake - that he will watch us eat and then take home to eat by himself after sunset. How can we respect his beliefs but not treat him differently than other employees?

one of the female doctors at my office is turning 60 tomorrow and we all want to do something cute/funny for her birthday. i already made a banner, got her a card, balloons, and im baking her a cake tonite...any other suggestions.

background on her: she went back to school in her 50's and now shes a psychologist...talk about late changes in life. but we all love her and she couldnt be nicer. :o)

My favorate is the decorations and baking cookies. I cannot wait. My catalog from abc distributing came in the mail and it's the christmas issue and it got me all in the spirit. it just sucks that it's like 5 months away.
