A Slight Stirring
A young man was at a party in Scotland fully dressed in his native kilt, every male there was. He had been dancing with several young ladies, but none of them had really interested him. But, there was one girl who he had noticed that he wanted in the worst way. He was shy however and did not have the nerve to ask. Just as the last song was coming on Jill, the girl he fancied, came over and asked him, "Would you like to dance with me?"

Thoroughly pleased the young man responded, "Aye, how could you tell?"

She responded, "By the gleam in your eye."

After they danced the last dance Jill asked him, "Would you like to walk me home?"

The boy was so pleased he eagerly responded, "Aye, how could you tell?"

She responded, "By the gleam in your eye."

When they reached the girls house she calmly asked him, "Would you like to come in and sleep with me?"

He was so excited, he really was curious this time, "Was it the gleam in my eye?"

Jill responded, "No the wee tilt in your kilt."

Walking into the pub, Sandy said to the bartender, "Pour me a stiff one, Donald. I just had another tiff with the little woman."
"Oh yeah," said Donald. "And how did this one end?"
"Well I'll tell you now when it was over," Sandy replied, "herself came to me on her hands and knees, she did."
"You don't say? Now that`s a switch! What did she say?"
She said, "Come out from under that bed, you gutless weasel!

My hair color is right but for silvering here and there, I do always wear sunglasses outdoors, but I'm not that young. I haven't found an icon for a silvering brunette, or a face that shows age.

while in paris this summer i could not help but notice that there were all of these bikes same color wide seat with a cute little basket -- racks at various place through out the town -- on checking i found out you could rent one of these bikes by putting a credit card in and it would release the bike -- you could ride it anywhere and drop it off at any other bike rack -- also it is free if the usage was less than a hour

would you use the bikes if they were available in your area

and two most important since the goal is to get folks out of cars and reduce car usage would you support a local tax to pay for the program (bikes., bike paths etc)

I love all the old musicals. I'd say my favorite is still "The Sound Of Music".

Ok so it's an inane question but it's my party and I'll ask what I want to. LOL.

Like many, when I first became a internet user and got email many years ago, I thought a lot of the stuff I received as 'forwards' was authentic.

Found out quickly most are not....and so much of the information that people tend to believe is just plain fraudulent, erroneous and often can instill unnecessary fear in people [medical info e.g]

SO I use www.snopes.com to verify these BEFORE I send them on - seems like the responsible thing to do IMO :-)

I'm one of those women who will not leave the house without my makeup on and hair carefully in place. My daughter thinks nothing of using no makeup, plunking a baseball cap on her head and going out in public. I've been like this since I was a teenager so this isn't an old lady thing for me.

Men, I'm assuming you don't wear makeup but do you shave and comb your hair before leaving home?
