Some people in the LGBT community you could not tell because they dress like everyone else. Others, dress differently. Gay women I have seen dress and look like men to the degree that I cant tell at first that they are women. Some men dress like a heterosexual man and you wouldnt be able to tell that they are gay. Same with some gay women. Other men dress very flamboyantly and people just assume they are gay. I would like some clarification on why members of the LGBT community do this. I am a lesbian and I dress somewhere in the middle...

Me and my girlfriend caused the break-up of one of our closest male friends and his hell beast fiance. He had been dating this hell beast about six monthes and we caught her "seeing" some guy at a pub. She treated our friend like absolute CRAP and she was always putting him down. A total control freak as well.
Anyhow, my girl friend has always liked him a little and I totally BLESS what she did.
We took him to a swingers party that was couples and single female only with her as his date.
We made sure that his fiance found out about it the next day. So, this towering 5'2" twigg decides she wants to attempt to beat the crap out of me...until she met me in person and I told her I would be over for his belongings; she agreed politely.
Me and girlfriend still prefer eachother...Male friend now seeing a WONDERFUL lady (who knows this story) and he's actually smiling again!
Would any of you be willing to go to these extremes for a friend? We'd do it again!

No bashing please!

I have several friends that are either gay males or lesbians, that are in the military. The codes state that if you are a homosexual, thats ok but basically you cannot ask anyone about it, tell anyone about it, or dont pursue any rumors you hear about it unless you are given proff that the individual is a homosexual. Why cant they be able to have the choice of coming out to family and friends ( as most have), but to the co-workers they risk their lives with as well.

I totally believe that being gay is wrong, but what is your opinion, Regiously it is wrong, God said was wrong. on a scientific basis its wrong because the purpose of sex is for procreation and the like. morally its wrong because God said so, read the bible if you don't believe me

I am curious because women seem far less afraid of gays than they are of trannies. Is it because of an attraction issue, like how men do not find a manly lesbian attractive, or is it a territorial issue, and they feel threatened? I understand this is not ALL womens feelings, but on here i have noticed a strong difference between opinions on the two. And im not gay or a tranny just so you know.

To me, Ladies Night is all about women getting in free, having a good time, and getting treated like queens. What about the man???

Do men ever get special treatment over the woman?
Are there places where they cater to the man like where they let men get in free and women have to pay? To me, Ladies Night is about favoring women over men, and I don't think that's right. So do they have special treatment for the guy to compensate for "Ladies Night"?

I'm a guy and that's the main reason why the idea of "Ladies Night" upsets me. I'M A GUY, SO WHAT ABOUT ME THE? IT'S NOT FAIR.

I've only had it here in NJ and it's not very good. Of course that's only my opinion. Those of you that have travelled, and had it in various places, does it always taste the same?

I'm a 28 year old male, and have only had oral sex with men. I have never been with a woman. I think women are attractive, but I'm definitely more attracted to men sexually. I had an interesting conversation with a woman online, who started to convince me that I'm gay.

Since I have no experience with women, am I pretty much gay? I know I shouldn't be so concerned with labels, but it's kind of nice to know. Thanks!

Am a gay and have known since the age of 11. I am 17 and am a straight acting guy and 'am in the closet'. I have a crush on this Chinese guy who seems to be straight. He plays Basketball, hangs out with mostly guys. I have class with him everyday and he has recently started talking to me one to one, which gets difficult especially when it comes to eye contact. Is there anyway of finding out if a guy is gay without exposing yourself? Or how do I avoid someone who I have class with and is bound to talk to me every now and again? I don't even know this guy well and do not wish to because he is sort of in the 'gangster' social group which is just not me so I do not think we could be friends. Please help.

We are not converting, we are only raising awareness......I still don't understand what the big deal is........what goes on in our own lives should not affect the "norm". Nevermind these teens who are leading horrible lives in the closet because the hatred and threat is too real for them come out.....someone tell me when we will be seen as just regular people who prefer to have a relationship with someone of the same sex?

I know racism is still alive & well amongst different races. But it has been my esperiences that WITHIN the gay community, people are more tolerable towards everyone in general, as they should be. BUT I have heard cases of racial hate crimes taking place within gay communities, and i've heard a few racial comments here at my place of work FROM a gay man towards another gay man who was of a different race.

What are your thoughts on if the LGBT community is more progressive and empathetic towards racial ineqaulities & slurs?
