to those of you who put down gays...do you feel better? myself, i really hope so. for each single one of you who do, just boosts us that much more. we sincerely thank you for thinking of us so much. (protesting too much are you?) ban us from the military, we'll stay here and have your wives and husbands:P thank you ever so much for widening the field for us...after all, we're evil right?

I find it frustrating, when I came out of the closet no one even thought I was gay because they all belived in the Hollywood version of gay guys, like guys from Queer Eye for the Straight guy.

It's so god damn annoying.

I'm a lesbian, and I keep having this dream about having sex with this one guy. I know him, and I see him everyday. Every time I wake up, I'm completely grossed out (I have been with men before, and I do not like it) but I keep having this reoccurring dream. Sometimes the scenario changes, but it always ends with me and this guy having sex. How can I not have this dream? Or is it normal and something I should disregard?

I went to church, still read my bible, and my family is somewhat religious. I have tried to be straight, been to church, prayed to God. I'm still a lesbian. So why do some people assume that going to church will somehow "change my lifestyle"?

That they should kill non-muslims. They even kill themselves. Savages!

The social issues gay males in Canada face today are complex and possibly minimalist; more rooted in cultural, ethnic, and spiritual frameworks than in the collective social frameworks of liberal thinking. The Charter and most provincial legislation for example guarantee the constitutional rights of gay males today. However, the ambivalence of most grass roots thinking and bias does not allow for the complete freedom of expression guaranteed by Charter. In other words, legislation governs behaviors. Consequences to discourage behaviors believed to be harmful to individuals that violate their constitutional rights are included. As the Charter guarantees freedom of choice, government may not govern the way people think or their bias. In this lies a dichotomy in Canadian society.

I have noticed that sex is becoming more and more socially acceptable to talk about in everyday conversation as well as depicted quite frequently (in many forms) on television and films. So do you think that eventually we might grow into a European type of Culture where they accept it more openly instead of keeping it a sort of taboo?

Thanks to those who answered my actual question. To everyone else, not to worry, Im grown and i have 4 tatoos all ready, one of them is a name and i dont care , b/c the thing is its about what that person means to me, not whether or not i will be with them forever or not.

The UK only offers civil partnerships to same-sex couples, not full and equal civil marriage. Even marriages made in Canada are only recognised as 'civil partnerships' here. Is this satisfactory, or, like me, do you find it insulting and discriminatory?

Who was your first gay experience with? Was a best friend or a flirtatious stranger? Did you love this person? Do you think it's better to be with someone older and more experienced for the first time, younger, or someone in the same boat as you? There aren't many good questions in this section, so I'd like to open some discussion.
