As strange as it sounds, I actually enjoy seeing those who act outrageously against gays and lesbians. I like people. I enjoy getting to know people. When they act up it does two things, it saves me time in trying to figure out who I DON'T want to get to know, and it shows the rational, real people who might be undecided on the subject exactly how hateful and irrational the "haters" are.

A lot of the times, people who hate, or are bother be homosexuals, them themself are trying to hide their own homosexuality with inside, I learn this in college(Book, Research, and Reports.) I am not the type of person to hate gay people, but I know plentty who do, yet I've tried to explain to them that there is not a single reson be afraid or have this recentment towards them, but still their minds haven't change a bit.
Personally, I like gay people. I think they're the most organized and most friendly and helpful people I know, though I'm not gay, sometimes I do try to imagine how would my life be if I was.

Amen to the Anita Bryant comment. The more straight people get to know gay people, the more they know that we are NOT that different from each other. We have the one primary difference in that we are same-gender loving and they are opposite-gender loving (and there are some folks in between, don't forget them) but with the rest of our lives we are JUST LIKE them.
So the more they get to know us, the less they fear and dislike us. The mean spirited ones who come here and cast stones about are here mostly to keep us from letting other people know us, because they see the handwriting on the wall.

I have friends and family members that are gay.I don't look at them any different than my hetro friends or family.I go to parties with both sides my wife can't stand it but there is nothing i can do about who my friends are we talk we all have same likes and dilikes except for a couple views.I do have a certain homophobia to a certain extent until i get to know someone.Just some gay and straight people take it to far and think everyone wants them.Join the military i don't care your blood is just as RED as mine.

You're probably not old enough to remember Anita Bryant---a supreme hate monger./homophobic..She did more to help the gay cause than we could ever have imagined...She appeared ridiculous in her crusade...and she brought gays (and straights) together to fight against gay bashing.....people are still doin' it for us...just get us gays and lesbians mad enough (I think we're there now) and there'll be no stopping us.

I like gays.
Gay guys usually treat me well, even if I don't even bother them or care to respond.
And gay women are amazing cuddlers, and no pressure.
But seriously, they're generally very social, easy-going people.
If you put them down, then you're a jerk. And why live your life being a jerk?
