The world’s oceans and seas are in jeopardy from over fishing, pollution and the destruction of natural habitats, through commercial trawlers, illegal use of banned nettings and poaching of endangered species such as the Turtle. Over fishing of Cod stocks has decreased its spawning grounds in the Atlantic by 64% and the stock in the Irish and Mediterranean Sea by 63%.
A 100,000 sharks are killed a yr simply for their Fins also by Japanese, Chinese and Scandinavian commercial trawlers!

Could you give up fish for 2 yrs if the EU implemented a law in which it was banned every 2 yrs on a 5 yr basis?

Consider the implications if we continue down this path, our seas in 20 yrs time will become barren by a % not thinking about its so frightening...
please boycott commercial fish products (Birdseye etc) and remember that if the fish stocks fail then the oceans are doomed as every fish has a purpose as does the shark which is the top of the oceans food chain.

I was attacked a few weeks ago outside my parents house by some stupid b*tch and a couple of her friends there was a bit of a scuffle between us when the police showed up i was arrested as well when i asked why i was told b/c i had been fighting back and b/c her injuries were worse then mine (she had minor cuts and bruses to her face) i had gone over board this struck me as odd considering the fact she would have had NO injuries if she had not attacked me Now the daft moo has attacked my sister when the police showed up this time my sister (who is only 14) was not arrested b/c she ran away well anyways i got talking to the officer and i asked him as the law stands (i live in England) what you can do to defend yourself he said you are allowed ONE punch back then you have to run away or you are seen as being just as bad but i think if you ran away she show them you are scared and they will harass you even more it just seems to me we are not allowed to DEFEND ourselves any more

While this thought is still fresh in our minds, let's take a look at New Orleans. It's amazing what you can learn with a little simple division..
Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), is presently asking Congress for $250,000,000,000 (250 Billion dollars) to rebuild New Orleans. Interesting number, what does it mean?
If you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, and child) you each get $516,528.
If you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your home gets $1,329,787.
If you are a family of four, your family gets $2,066,012.
Washington D.C.... Hello!!!.... Are all your calculators broken?!!!

My boyfriend exercises every afternoon in the park. All the people around there know him and like him. A recruiter told him that a husband and wife can be in the same unit. I love him and I'm thinking if this is correct we could join at 18 after high school and be together. We would also have paid college tuition. My dad is a retired Marine and he always talks highly of his military experience. I think he would support me. My mom might not be so positive but Oh well.

This could be student radio, hospital radio, armed forces radio, prison radio, restricted service licence (RSL) broadcasting, or stations with a 5-year Community Radio licence. What was your programme about, what did you think about the quality of the training, how did your colleagues treat you, what ongoing support did you get, did you get listener feedback, did you enjoy the experience etc. etc.?

she hates spiders, daddy log legs, flys and all other manner of creepy crawlies, she cannot have them at all, and has my head wrecked chasing bugs around the house all night.
The house is clean, no dead bodies under the stairs or anything like that. they don't bother me, they probably do more good than bad i tells her, but will my dear listen? can anyone please suggest a repelent or assure her that they will not make our bed thier home or leave eggs in her Barnet that in fact spiders are harmless and they WILL NOT KILL HER!!!

I have been offered a position in a firm in Bootle Merseyside. If I decide to take it although it would mean a significant rise, It would also mean that my family and I would have to relocate. This is quite tempting as the house we currently live in means that we have a wide choice of areas - but are not sure where's best, obviously living close to work would be a + point, however would I be advised to live further a field and commute? What are the schools like in Bootle / Wirral area?
And the area(s) in general?

I left her on a bench in Kensington Park six or seven days ago, went on holiday, came back, and it looks like someone's made off with her. She's about 5 foot nothing and has blue hair. She has a red, alligator bag, and she's wearing a housecoat with "Piss Off!" across the back and she yells "Bullocks!" every now and again for no reason.
