Or why would they make tautological arguments that define logic in terms of theological conclusions? "Logic is not believing in fairies."

Do atheists have some bias against logic? This was not the case for Bertrand Russell or AJ Ayer?

I have been working for a cinema for a littel while. There is a church group hires a screen on every Sunday mornings for their service. The last cinema I worked for also had another church group in a screen on every Sunday mornings. Some other cinemas I have been also have Church groups do the same. I heard that it is actualy becoming common now.
I just wonder: When did it started, and why do they hire screens instead of going to churchs.?
They do not watch movies, but they sing and dance cheerful songs normally.

When my husband was killed in 2001, I would go to bed at night and wake up thinking he had tried to hold me. I would smell cigarette smoke in the house where he NEVER smoked. Sometimes I would hear a motorcycle reeving its engine just outside my bedroom window and yet there was nothing there. I also have a picture taken app. 6 months after his accident that appears to be a skeleton-like face looking out of the sliding door of the house. This happened not only to me but to others who stayed in the house. Most of them would smell the smoke. No one else ever saw anything. I also ended up buying a new car a few months after his death. Around 2 years after the accident, I smelled cigarette smoke in it and I know he was never in the vehicle. My visitations disappeared after I got married and moved, but until that happened, I had them on a regular basis. Has anyone else ever had such experiences and care to tell about them?

Lets say that you are my brother or sister!!! You go to church all of the time and give your money or (TIDES) in church. We are exactly the same except I dont go to church but I do talk to god all of the time just like you. I know that you are going to heaven but am I going??

For the Christians: I always hear people saying "god will never give me more than I can handle".

QUESTIONS:
1. Do you believe that God will never give more than can be handled? (YES or NO)

2. If yes, what about all of the thousands of innocent children who are dying the painful death of cancer....Isn't that more than they can handle? (YES or NO)

3. What exactly does this statement (god will never give us more than we can handle) mean to you?

4. With all the dying children, don't you feel that this is nothing more than a cliche'?

My ex room mate was this 45 year old weirdo that used to sleep during the day and stay up all night. Not only that he would sleep in the living room all the time with nothing but a robe that usually fell open. To say i hated him was an understatement. He used to play games on his phone all night long and squeeze this penguin shaped stress toy. When I moved out, I filled up a dresser with trash and left it in the living room. I spray painted his squeeze toy gold and stuck a pencil though its head and put it back. Then i threw his shoes on the roof. He has no way to contact me. Did I get him good?

Everywhere I go, I feel dissasociated with the rest of mankind. Nobody cares about philosophy, economics, history, deep politics anymore. Nobody cares about anything but the boring everyday rat race, their little meaningless jobs, their ties, theirs suits, their clothes and their petty materialist lives.
I don't care about the snickers you bought, I'm not interested in knowing who won American Idol, I don't want to know what happens in the soap opera, what cellphone you like best, or what new stunt has the spoiled hotel heiress pulled. It's just not important.

Don't you care about the military coup in Thailand? Or why are there multinational corporations that have a higher income than that of small countries? Don't you care about the ballooning chinese-financed trade deficit that will probably cause the world economy to fall in a recession in 2008?
I'm sick and tired because nobody else cares about this. No wonder the world is in such disastrous situation.

Why are black men good enough to date, but black women arent? Just noticed that a lot of white men say that it's wrong to date a black women but have no problem with black men dating white women. What's the difference? Interacial dating is interacial dating. Also, these same men who are so dead set against interacial dating are the first to buy someone from asia to marry. Hypocitical, hunh?
