How many of you have ever had a "ghostly" experience?

When my husband was killed in 2001, I would go to bed at night and wake up thinking he had tried to hold me. I would smell cigarette smoke in the house where he NEVER smoked. Sometimes I would hear a motorcycle reeving its engine just outside my bedroom window and yet there was nothing there. I also have a picture taken app. 6 months after his accident that appears to be a skeleton-like face looking out of the sliding door of the house. This happened not only to me but to others who stayed in the house. Most of them would smell the smoke. No one else ever saw anything. I also ended up buying a new car a few months after his death. Around 2 years after the accident, I smelled cigarette smoke in it and I know he was never in the vehicle. My visitations disappeared after I got married and moved, but until that happened, I had them on a regular basis. Has anyone else ever had such experiences and care to tell about them?

I agree that some of the earlier "visitations" were due to grief. However, those that were experienced by others were not due to grief. In addition, the visitations changed over the two year period from the attemping to touch and auditory to mainly olfactory. Although, I did have him one last touching time. This occured in the doorway between the master bedroom and the master bath. The air temperature went from normal to extermely cold and back to normal. That had never happened before. I talked to him and when I went back through the same doorway about 5 minutes later, the temperature was the same.

Yes. I knew many ghosts in my life. My great grandfather had passed 15 years before I was born, but I knew he was in my old house I grew up in. He was friendly, and like you, I always smelled his cigar smoke.

In my last home I lived in, there were a few spirits there. One was a female, who was always wanting to be next to me and my baby. She was nice, just lost. I sensed her presence was female. My baby really liked her, it was weird. The baby would coo and babble at the wall every morning at 7am. Then, there was a not so happy spirit that was just passing through, thank goodness. I prayed for it to move on and burned sage and never saw it again.

It is my understanding that when people were very close lovers, there are some visitations that happen after death. I have not experienced this, but I have not lost a lover.

I believe I have heard ghosts before, as I'm rather auditory in general. I was waiting table in a restaurant that was in a Revolutionary War Era mansion. I kept hearing a woman's voice behind me saying "miss, miss!" I would look and the people at the table nearby would be deep in conversation. Then it would happen again. It was kind of creepy, but there'd been a lot of sightings at that place, it's even on a local ghost register.

Two years ago, I went to Las Vegas. I drank far too much, and I probably got alcohol poisoning.

When I was walking out of the restroom, I blacked out. I woke up slumped over a toilet in a stall...I wasn't touched and my money was still on me.

I don't remember blacking out, but, I do remember walking out of the bathroom. Just after walking onto the casino floor, I saw my good friend Emmett, who had committed suicide just 6 months earlier. We talked like friends would. We caught up on old times and just shot the **** for a while. But I remember him telling me to go back into the bathroom. He wouldn't let me walk back to where my friends were.

When I walked back in, I woke back up. I might have been on the borderline of life and death there, and Emmett saved me by telling me to go back. I know it's not a ghost thing, but it's the closest I've ever had.

we will not all be blessed or it does not be a blessing. i will think of with reference to the detrimental souls who neglected out throughout my next suggestions-blowing episode. maybe. does not or not it is nice if there became a sorting out gadget, like for grasp mechanics, or the BAR examination for legal experts? shall all of us bypass and be examined, and if we exceeded the try we could be a 'qualified Cosmically suggestions-blowing Lover'. we could get a certificates to hold close on our mattress room wall, and an identity card that could get us in unique golf equipment and furnish different fringe advantages. existence could be gooooood.

It is grief. Sorry for your loss and yes I had a ghoulish experience that creeps me out to this day kind of like those Japanese Horror films.!!!
