I don't know if their immoral, I think there a bit crazy for doing that to their body, I am not fond of tattoos or multiple piercings as I think it looks horrid, my husband worked with a guy who had most of his body tattooed and pierced, I automatically said he was weird or a thug, how wrong I was about him, he is a really nice guy and very gentle too, but I still dislike all his tattoos and piercings that he has and will always stick with my belief its horrid and just can't be good for the blood stream.

People with any type of piercing or tatoo are indeed immoral, and also go against God. The Bible says, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). I don't think getting tatoos and piercings glorifies God. The Bible also states, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. ” (Leviticus 19:28). So, I do not believe doing those things will better your soul. Which is what really matters.

Morality is all a relative thing. It depends on your terms of reference. for example a vegan may find it morally objectionable to use any animal products. That does not mean that using animal products is immoral for everyone.
So I guess the answer is it depends.
I personally do not find tattoo's immoral in any way shape or form. Passing judgement on people because they have them I do find objectionable though.

In my rather short journey on Yahoo's Q&A--I seem to be liking David M. Just gave him a thumbs up. Frankly, I can't imagine why you asked such a ludicrous question. & you probably won't understand a word he said. Now. How's THAT for being biased?

Immoral - no. Acting foolishly - yes. Just think of all those nice little holes just waiting to be slightly damaged so that all sorts of infections can get in! As if we haven't got enough to worry about!

Maybe, maybe not. I cannot judge. However, and this is only my opinion, I think they definitely have personal, psycho-social issues that need addressing. I feel that they may have issues with lack of self esteem--self hatred, as they feel the need to mutilate their bodies. Now--if the person belongs to some tribe in third world country where that is the norm, it's a different story.

No, because every person has the right to do anything they want as long as its legal. Morality has to do with doing good and appearance has nothing to do with personality and actions, so no it would not be immoral.

Christians believe only engraven images, If you worship some object and get that marked on your body, that would be immoral to Christians.
Body Modification is not immoral, it is often beautiful.
Body mutilation and self-inflicted wounds and self-torture are not only immoral, it is evil. Body mutilation isn't modification, it is causing scars that do not serve a purpose.
On a personal note, I have found that people with many tattoos and pierces to be stuck-up.
