Jeez. This is going too far. I can't say 'eenie meenie minie moe' anymore..Can't call anyone 'crippled'..Can't call a very small person a 'Midget'..(now Vertically Challenged.) Can't say 'black' person. I would like to be able to slap a co-worker on the butt with a friendly 'Hi', light up a cigarette, a tell a few good jokes without offending everyone..Just like before!!!!!

I go to work 5 or more days a week, and I belong to a labor union, where I pay dues and participate in leadership. I go to church on most sundays, and support my church with my money and my talents. I own a home and pay taxes. I like baseball (Cub's fan--oops) and I ride a bike for exercise. I have two small dogs that I care for daily, and both were adopted so that they wouldn't be destroyed. I have a sister and neices and nephews that I see as often as I can. I cared for each of my parents when they were elderly and ill. I vote in elections and work for the candidates who I believe deserve my support. I pick up litter when I see it and I support better schools in my community, even though I have no children of my own.

What part of my gay lifestyle is it that you don't like?

I am trying to get in contact with some old friends who I went to high school with. Some are married and I don't want their spouses getting the wrong idea. So I thought I'd email them, but I don't know how to get their email addresses.
And no, I am not a stalker!

Again, I mean of offense to any one but I need to know.
Abraham is the father of both religions. Wed to Sarah, the son was Issac and God promised to make a nation of this seed, hense the Jews. Abraham had another son, Ishmael, son of the bond servant Hagar. After Abraham exiled them both, God saved them and promised to make a nation of Ismael's seed, hense Islam. The Jews and Islam serve the same God, one calls him Jehova and one call Allah. Why the fight or fued between them. Just have to know.
Thanks in Advance

It seems like you can say you want to torture and kill gay people and no action is ever taken. Is anyone else continually reporting it?

Let's say that she's smart, pretty, and is a faithful Christain. She laughs at your jokes and you've said to a friend (when asked) that she's nice, fun to talk to, and has a cute face. You've invited her to your church and now you sit next to each other every Sunday

I just don't know if this guy is interested in more than friendship! What do you think, guys?

Can Men have courage without faith? Intense courage without some sort of fundamental belief in anything. Is it even possible for a man to exist without any faith whatsoever, be it in a certain God or in Oneself, or in the government or in their spouse or peers, or general faith in the goodness of mankind, or faith in the belief that after death, your done and can finally forever sleep.

It seems that each denomination is interpeting the bible differently. how can this be. this is the word of god, isn't it. I would think there could be only one interpetion of gods words, otherwise there would be many different views of god, just like we see in the world? if there is a god, it seems god doesn't care how you acknowlege him/her, as long as you do. If it's ok to worship in your own interpetation, aren't all religons valid?

I can't believe some of the things that my 10 year old niece talks about...she is aware of things that I hadn't thought about until I was much older. Is the media to blame?

In Christianity, it is often stated that God is omnipotent (all powerful) or omniscient (all knowing). If this is true, God knows everything that is happening now and everything that will happen in the future. If God knows what will happen in the future, then we cannot make decisions or perform any actions that will change his pre-ordained destiny. Therefore, it seems to me that, in Christianity at least, free-will is inconsistent with the dogma of omnipotence / omniscience. Can anyone enlighten me how this glaring paradox is resolved?

I'm just curious. You are with your family in a family friendly restaurant. Across from you is a group of about 10 people, 2 being children under 5 (one is five, one is probaby 2.5 yo). The 2.5 yo is being a normal kid, however is proceeding to get louder and louder. Mom and dad ignore him. Mom gives him a bottle (yes, a bottle) and he throws it down. Mom picks it up and gives it back, he throws it again. She picks it up again and gives it to him. This time he throws it across the room--narrowly missing your own child. He's now screaming and thrashing in the high chair, but mom and dad are ignoring him, as is the rest of the party. You do not know if he has any behavioral problems or not...how do you react? The restaurant is half full of people continually watching this other table. What if you were that child's parent or one of the diners? The waitstaff?
