The word Jew gets thrown around so losely. I'm not talking about calling someone cheap either. I hear it a lot in the context of people blaiming the jews for all the problems in the world today. How they rule hollywood, control the economy or are resposible for 9/11 and stuff like that. (I don't believe those things, they're just some examples that I've heard. Please don't call me a bigot.) Sometimes I don't knwo if people are talking about people who's religion is jewish or what. It's thrown around as though jews were a race or nationality. But anyone from any country could be of the jewish faith, right? Does jew mean an israeli? Is there a such thing as an American-Jew? That shouldn't be hyphenated, it's apples and oranges. How about when someone is half jewish because only one of their parents is jewish? How does that work? You can't honestly believe in 2 different religions, because that would mean that you didn't believe in either of those religions. Ugh p.s. I'm not a jew

An embryo doesn't have sensations or feelings or anything, because its brain hasn't developed far enough. But it's biologically human and can develop into an adult human being. The kitten, on the other hand, has sensations and feelings, but it's not human.

I'm writing a book review that deals with philosophical questions about what makes it wrong to kill something, and I'm curious to know what ordinary people think about this.

I have always had premonitions, especially in my dreams. I have dreamed about major events such as pregnancies, deaths, marriages, etc., months before they occurred. I even have deja vu on a regular basis. But lately some weirder stuff has been happening...for instance, when I am in my bedroom, the lamp on the other side of the room will turn on for no reason. I have heard that those with psychic energy can sometimes make stuff like that happen if they have a lot of energy or are upset that day. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this stuff, because it is kind of freaking me out. Please only answer if you are going to give a serious shot at it.

Hurricaine Katrina has devastated me, my family, and my entire community. Katrina has taken everything from me. I do not want to kill myself because I do not want to go to hell. Please help, I sincerely cannot take it anymore. Katrina just keeps on taking from us here in New Orleans, now after the stress she left for everyone, now she is taking my marriage. I truly do not want to live anymore. When will it stop? There are literally thousands of others that Katrina has destroyed and feel the same way I do. I have turned to God but Katrina just keep taking and taking from us all. Just the other day a photographer for the Times Picayune tried to get some police officers to kill him after he found out that his home insurance was not enough for him to rebuild his house, let alone his life. People tell me not to say things like this here , " we do not want people in other places to think that we are not doing okay here in N.O". They want ya'll to think we are ok. Truth is we are not!

There are many people that are sexually stimulated in various "unique" ways that are considered by many "unnatural". Some are stimulated by violence (Sadists). Some by children, (pedaphiles/disgusting). Some by animals. All of these are mocked and shunned by society, (at least I hope so). Many of these have these desires their whole lives.

Why, then, is homosexuality distinguished? Why do some want to prove homosexuality is genetic, but not pedaphilia, sadism, etc...?
