we need to make charts to inform students in college about the enrollment in N.S.S (National Social Service). I need some creative ideas or a slogan to prepare a chart that will inspire students to enroll they names & be a part of N.S.S.

My buddy was working his shift as a manager at a nation wide auto parts store last night, he was held up at gun point... He is ok, got clocked over the head. He feared more for his new born daughter (at home) more than himself... Seeing as though Ive never had a gun in my back, Im woundering if anyone has been, or knows someone that has been held up... As his buddy how can I help him, to deal with any stress or anxiety that may come about from this?

When i was 18 i got married to a guy who was only after my british passport, we split up a month after the wedding after a lot of physical torture from him does anyone know how i could get a divorce do i need to go to Ireland?

They knew all adult man would have a little ego as art of their nature but why many Woman's Rights Groups always try avoid this topic?Why can't there be an association that would help to educate our society about the importance of understanding eachother between male and female without any bias since each gender has it's own hits and misses?Is there something sinister going on?Any ideas boys and gals??

Since that rebellious counterculture revolution of the late 60's/70's broken families, violence, promiscuity, crime "and overall decline of supporting education seems more evident then ever" as another has put it and has left us with many huge complicated problems. And to top it off, people are now called prudes simply for having any morals at all. Virtuosity is ridiculed and mocked. Our standards just keep dropping each decade don't they? At the rate we're going in a few decades people will be called "prudish" for being morally opposed to murder.

Why don't people care? Why aren't we as a country doing something about this? Why don't we learn from the mistakes of past civilizations so our society doesn't crumble, because that's what will happen not too far from now if these current attitudes keep up. Please don't let me down. I've been doing what I can, but as an individual I feel so weak and helpless-why can't you do the same?

Maybe a revolution will be inspired by Pope John Paul II. You don't have to be a Christian to have morals. If the legacy of Martin Luther King would be carried out that would be great too. Except...racism has always been a problem in our country-let's tackle the ones we know we're capable of solving first

People make the excuse for porn that "it's just masturbation": Then why not just do that to fantasies and pictures of pretty women instead? You'd have to be pretty spoiled, desensitized and jaded to only be able to be turned on by gratuitous porn and not be moved by a fantasy or looking at a pretty girl. Men use to take care of their sexual release that way so what makes you so special? You are no more biologically different then they are.

And please give a rational answer that will make me want to listen to you, no childish smarta*s answers.

...but there are certain things that i just can't get past. i work almost full time (30 hrs + per week) go to school full time (M-Th 8-5) you have to be realitively strong minded/motivated to accomplish this. but, for instance, if someone says something negative about my character it will drive me insane for months (sometimes longer). i mean it gets to the point at times i will loose sleep! am i confusing motivation and a strong work ethic with strong mindedness....if so any "real" suggestions on how to overcome "backbitting" would be appreciated...serious answers only please.

please note that the "backbitting" issue is just an example. i value my good name almost more than life it self (exageration) many of my friends say "just forget about it..." if it were a light switch i would have turned it off long ago

intelligence is so difficult to identify.
this is an example.
I played a few games of chess with this one guy, he couldn't beat me(I was not versed at the time in chess strategy), a friend accidentally put his hand thought a glass window and severed most of his tendons, this same guy said "you need to think of something else to take your mind away from the pain, just think of hamburgers! it always help me!" He then went on to score 1600 in his SAT
do you truly believe that there is a way to level an individuals intelligence without IQ or EQ tests?
