Not if you stay in a good routine. Switching back and forth is what hurts you.

Here's an article about a slightly increased risk of breast cancer in women who work nights. I wonder if more studies have been done about other risks?
I'd make an effort to still get out during the day as often as possible. Also make a point of doing things you enjoy even if you have to do them at odd hours.

I have seen studies where experts say that it can take a few years off your life. But who really knows. It is essential to go out in the sun for a little while each day to get the vitamin your body produces from the sun.

I don't think so. It's just like waking up with the other people on the other side of the world. As long as you're getting 6-8 hours of sleep, then you're fine.

Its been studied that you actually sleep better at night but that is mostly because its dark. Make your room as dark as possible and it shouldnt make that much of a difference.

I don't think so as long as you can get used to it and you haven't completely lost touch with your family.
