russia has a declining population of over 5 million through the past 10 years. With low birth rates and low expentacy (esp amongst russian males). Mainly due to excessive drinking and smoking.

We know that "stabilize" the Middle East is code for maintaining the US Dollar as the key PetroCurrency.

Europe would not join the current conflict because they see the U.S. in a no-win position, and they want to position themselves and the EuroDollar to fill the void when the U.S. and British are finally forced to leave the region.

China is flying under the radar because no one sees them as having built the same relationships in the Middle East as has the E.U.

Projections are for Chinese petroleum consumption rates to jump exponentially over the next ten years, perhaps surpassing the U.S.--in economic ruin--as the world leader in oil consumption.

Will the Chineseand the Yuan edge out the E.U. or will the EuroDollar triumph over the dependent consumer?

The Government is doing its job but they might not be able to see what we experience on daily basis. Hence we will be on the other hand helping the government itself. We meet lot of people who want do do something in their life. Lot of us have money which could be spent lavishly even though we have plenty of left overs more so over we are generating income above that on daily basis. We pay some tax to the government also.
For the sake of humanity can we think, plan and introduce a system where an individual charges some optional percentage of income to himself and pay to his neighborhood needy people.
Just think by doing so these needy people will not over take us in richness but it will definitely lead to a happier and healthier surrounding, as well will remove hatred from the mind of people, and love and happiness might prevail.

Assuming a consumer purchases only cookies and milk, what should the consumer do if she wishes to increase her total utility from the consumption of these two goods? Why?

As the city population grows, crime increases. The city has the choice of hiring more officers, or installing security cameras. Here are the details:

~ Each police officer would be paid $20,000/year.
~ Each security camera would cost $8,000/year.
~ Number of CrimesPrevented Per Year-Number of Officers Hired:
21 - 1, 47 - 2, 76 - 3, 104 - 4, 128 - 5, 149 - 6, 165 - 7, 178 - 8, 188 - 9, 195 - 10.
~ Number of Crimes Prevented Per Year -Number of Camera Installations: 2 - 1, 9 - 2, 18 - 3, 26 - 4, 32 - 5.
Here are the questions:
~ What is the marginal product and marginal revenue product of labor for police officers? ~ What is the optimal number of officers to be hired if the city only hires police officers?

Can someone take a look at those questions and help me out a little? I figured that the inflation rose 1216% from 1932 to 2002, but I'm not sure if I can determine which price cost more with just that number of if I need to find the next question out as well, and figure what their salaries would be.

I did that anyway, and working a 40 hour week at 55 cents in 1932 would yield 1,144 a year while in 2002 you'd make 30,700 a year.

So, I figured that 1,144 is 7.6% of 15,000 and 30,700 is 15.3% of 200,000. Would that mean 200,000 is less money today compared to 15,000?
