Dream Interpretation

I have recently been troubled by horrible dreams, not scary nightmares, just horrible things and have been relieved to wake up and find it was not real. Does everyone do this? Do our brains tell us things when we are asleep?

I had a strange dream recently, i saw my ex partner with his new partner walking down the street they both looked really sad, do dreams have hidden meanings? if so what does this mean? i'm a bit spooked by it

OMG it's horrible. I can't even get back to sleep. I keep having dreams that she is getting hurt in some way. I just had one that my three year old put a knife through her chest and it went down into the bottom of the stroller. It was so real. I know you're supposed to have weird dreams when you're pregnant, but friggin' come on now.

I had a dream that I went on a tour inside the house of a neighbor of my best childhood friend. The neighbor had just remodeled the inside of the house in a coastal look. (I work in and around houses a lot.)

Inside was beautiful. She had some large aquariums with very rare fish. Some of the fish looked brightly colored and beautiful, but some were dull and kinda creepy but cute looking. Like Mark Ryden fish, for any art ppl. All of the fish were very small.

In one aquarium, there was a larger fish that looked like an orange tabby kitten, around age 6-9 mo. Or maybe it was really a slimy-looking kitten in the water, b/c I remember thinking, "how can he breathe in there?"

The childhood friend mentioned above had an orange tabby kitten at one time when we were young.

What do you think this bizarre dream means?

i cant control my actions!
its like im watching a movie,
and your like screaming at the person to not opren the door in the horror movie,
but i do it anyway.
for example,
i wanted to smack this girl,
but i couldnt because it was like me watching a movie.
ugh, its so annoying.
my dreams would be way funner if i could!

Okay, this dream is about my best friend, who moved in August to a different state.
Anyways, he came to see me, and I hugged him, and then all of a sudden, it's dark, and were in my grandmother's room.
He layed down in my lap and fell asleep. I grabbed his hand, but then I found out he wasn't actually asleep, because he kept squeezing my hand, and he was smiling (eyes closed).
What does this mean?

And in my dream, I was a surrogate mother for 2 different couples over 2 years. And I was really happy in this dream I had because I was able to help these people who couldnt have kids. Does my dream mean anything? Like physcologicaly does it mean anything?

okay, so last night i had this wierd dream where i was first of all, not there in body, but i could just see waht was going on. i was looking out of a window (not my window) out onto a street. i witnessed a car crash involving about seven cars, all one after the other. they all were complete write-offs, i could see that. then i was transported to the scene, and i had to look at all of the mangled bodies of people who died in this crash, and every one of them was someone i knew and loved... worst of all, i saw myself among the bodies strewn all over the road. and then it hit me that i was the one to cause the crash, that it was my fault all my loved ones had died. right then i wanted to scream, call 999 or just break down crying. as soon as it had begun it was over, and everything was black, in the darkness of sleep.

this dream really haunts me... what the hell does it mean???
thank you for listening. i really want to know what it means.

A friend of mine asked me to listen to her voicemail to see if it said what she thought she heard. It did. It said, "Diana! I'm on fire!" (that's me, Diana) I said who was that?? All my friends said it was Bobby, you're boyfriend for years in school. I didn't have a clue who he was. They told me he was black, I still didn't remember him. Then the next day I found out he was dead. I felt terrible. I went to one of my friends house and he pointed out a picture of Bobby. I still didn't recognize him at all. Any ideas on what this dream is trying to tell me? Also, I DO NOT know anyone named Bobby.

Ok my boyfriends grandpa passed away a few months ago. Well last night I had a dream that his face was in the sky and it kept getting closer and closer to me. Then a voice said he will be back on Oct.7th. Thats tomorrow! Why did I dream that?

I'm hoping that someone out there will agree with me on my hunch.

Last night I dreamt some very violent/death dreams. Some of them involved people that I know and some of them were with people I did not know. In every dream sequence, someone was murdered. Violently. (I don't remember if I was the one doing the killing, though).

Now. This has the capability to REALLY bother me. I'm hoping that these dreams signify that one chapter of my life is closing (death) and another is opening. I just got out of a 5 yr relationship(another death?). I also just found out yesterday that girl I used to work with is now dead. It really shook me up and I barely knew her. I hope the deaths in my dreams mean death to old things and look forward to new things.

It would bother me if this isn't what my dreams meant and I'm just dreaming about killing people.

I dreamt that I saw my boyfriend with another woman (who I know in real life, but who he's never met) while walking around in public. In the dream, we had apparently broken up. He was being very rude and heartless toward me and told me how he was happier with her, and didn't I ever want to date anyone else?

His personality is not rude and heartless in real life. What does this dream mean?

i had a dream not too long ago that my grandfather (passed on for almost 9 years now) came to me and told me things. like how beautiful my children are and how he is proud of me now. he told me that he was dissappointed when i was younger and smoking pot. he is sooooo proud of me for going to school to become a police officer and how he wishes he could still be here so my babies could know him. he said that my grandmother (passed on about 5 years ago) wishes that she could talk to me but she isnt strong enough. i was really sick about 2 weeks ago and this was when this happened. he told me that i had to be okay for my kids. i know i sound crazy but it felt sooooo real. i was wondering if anyone ever had anything else like this happen to them. . .

I worry about (specifically) my mother way too much and so many times of the day I picture her in really bad thoughts and so i get worried easily .. and then end up calling her to see if okay? but lately ive been feeling scared and so i call her alot. I have a reoccuring dream where I am on a beach, and there is a huge tidal wave coming, I always crouch down, or hide behind something and hold my breathe, and it comes and knocks me over, and then another tidal wave will come, the dreams are always really realistic, and the scenery changes, but it's always a huge tidal wave. What could this mean????

It had an upper deck that was rectangular and was completely white. There were many people milling around and I joined them. I spotted my boyfriend and approached him. He was standing with another man who then began to marry us. My dream self wasn't the least bit surprised even though prior to that moment, I hadn't known what was happening. My boyfriend had a concern about some of the terminology being used in the vows and him and the officiant got into a lengthy discussion about the meaning. Eventually, people started to leave and the wedding broke up. My boyfriend was still involved in his conversation. Then I was at my boss's house, playing with my new toe piercing(!) There was a stud going through down through my toenail on my second toe. It came out the bottom only when I flattened the pad of my toe. I was considering putting an earring back on it. I told my boss I wasn't sure if I was married or not. I've never been on a boat in real life as I'm afraid of water.

ok this may sound way stupid but a month or less ago I was outside watching the stars and suddenly the tree beside me dissapear and the only thing I saw was this big bright blue star in the sky then the tree appeared and the blue star wz gone....what happened? and no I am not crazy .....and no I was not dreaming......can any one explain this to me?

What does it mean when you have 2 dreams about the same girl? I had 2 dreams last night about the same girl. The first one was an intimate dream with her. The second one I was mean to her. Weird part about it is that this is a girl that I work with, and I can't stand her. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Had a dream last night. Something was sticking out of my belly button. I thought it was fuzz from my sweatshirt. Reached down to pull it out and it disappeared back into my belly. It also felt squishy. Not good, I thought. It popped back out and I grasped it and pulled. Slowly I pulled and it came out. And came out some more. Egads, I thought - must be an intestinal worm. No wonder I havn't been feeling good. Even though it tried going back in, I got it all the way out. And it looked like a snake, not a worm. It was beautiful though - for a snake, if you like those things. Which I don't, but I still had to acknowledge it's beauty. It was pink and white. I called my brother to come and dispose of it. (Don't live with brother - live with estranged husband) My brother went away with the snake. Later he told me he flushed it down the bathtub drain. Oooh, I thought with a nagging feeling - it's not dead - it could come back up out of that drain & find me again. Thanks all

I've had several dreams with demons and the devil. Yes the devil and NO I don't watch scary movies. My dreams are completely real. In my dreams the demons will try and attack me or talk to me. They are horrible dreams. One night my husband woke me up in the middle of the night becuase i was crying and praying out loud. When I woke up I could not stop crying. I told my husband that I knew i was dreaming but a demond was sitting on top of me and I could not wake myself up. I kept praying in my dream " I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ" which my husband said he completely heard me and was worried so he woke me up. My point is, I am an adult and i know what i'm experiencing. Has anyone had similar experiences. Please let me know!!

I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with this rather strange dream that I had last night.

Ok, first of all I think that I should say that I have been playing an Role Playing Game on the XBOX called “Fable” it is a game a played a few years ago but I have just got it back out and started playing again.

Well in my dream I was in the game, like I was the character (a hero) and I lived in the game (this is in my dream), so in the dream I was doing one of this missions where I had to escort traders through “Darkwood”

(I must say here that everything in the game was exactly the same in my dream, all of the names of the places and the way people looked and everything)

So I was escorting the traders and I got to the part where I was in “Darkwood Marshes” where there is a creature that is a bit like a werewolf, called a “Balverine” I saw the “Balverine” and my dream changed.

I was now in a town, but instead of having animated characters the people in the town looked like real people (though I still was animated and still the same as before) and I was trying to save the town from a “Balverine” invasion (this is not part of the game) I could see the faces of the people but don’t remember any of what they looked like, anyway I was trying to save the town and I was fighting all these “Balverines” and slowly killing them one by one until there was only one left and it was hiding the trees at the far end of town.

At this point some jets flew over head and dropped land mines all over the place and I remember saying to the people that they don’t have to worry now as there was no way that the Balverine could get to them because these land mines, that had sort of become mechanical spiders would protect them. I was just in the middle of explaining how the spiders that had came out of the land mines would protect the people of the town when my dream changed again and we were inside a house, and all of the people from the town where there (even though I could only see some of them I knew they were all in the house) and this little boy was playing with one of these mechanical spiders and was teasing it with a “Balverine” bone and for some reason I just knew that the last remaining “Balverine” was hiding under the house and was going to dig its way up to kill everyone.

So I drew my sword to protect them and I knew I could kill it easily, but then my dream changed again

I was now standing in total darkness with nothing around me and I was looking at this “Balverine” that was wearing the same armour as I was and holding the same sword, but it was laughing at me and when I asked it why it was laughing it swung its sword at my face and that was the point where I woke up

It is probably worth while saying as well that when I woke up and looked at the time I had only been asleep for two hours but in my dream I had lived a whole life time from been a child to an adult and becoming a “hero”

The very strange thing is though, I was not afraid in my dream I knew I could kill all the “Balverines” until the very end of my dream where I was facing that one that was dressed like me and had the same sword, that was the only time I felt scared.

I know this is long but I have tried to put as much information into here as I can

So if anyone might be able to help me make sense of it I would be grateful because I believe that our dreams are meant to teach us, but I don’t understand what this dream is meant to be telling me
