It had an upper deck that was rectangular and was completely white. There were many people milling around and I joined them. I spotted my boyfriend and approached him. He was standing with another man who then began to marry us. My dream self wasn't the least bit surprised even though prior to that moment, I hadn't known what was happening. My boyfriend had a concern about some of the terminology being used in the vows and him and the officiant got into a lengthy discussion about the meaning. Eventually, people started to leave and the wedding broke up. My boyfriend was still involved in his conversation. Then I was at my boss's house, playing with my new toe piercing(!) There was a stud going through down through my toenail on my second toe. It came out the bottom only when I flattened the pad of my toe. I was considering putting an earring back on it. I told my boss I wasn't sure if I was married or not. I've never been on a boat in real life as I'm afraid of water.

maybe your dream was saying that you love your boyfriend very much but it is scary to love him, hence the boat fear and his argument with the officiant as for the toe piercing maybe you think that that is the main part of that particular branch of the dream but it may have been the background or boss

Interesting dream, but I can put them together

looking down on a boat, white deck = desire, perfection
a man began to marry you = desire, things you wanted to do
bf has concern about terminology being used in the vows = disagreement, discontent, conflict
wedding broke up = disappointment
at your boss's house plying new toe piercing = swift attention for things you don't face
stud going through your second toe = seek for support
told boss not sure if you were married = being confused

It may seem your dream don't make any sense at all. However, put them together. This dream is more or less about your desire, the relationship with your boy friend, and your boss. You have a desire of being loved or being recognized in some way. Projecting yourself looking down at a deck which was completely white shows full attention you are seeking. And besides, you projected a man to marry you.

However, there may be something going with your boy friend. It may be his personalities that gave you an idea that you don't totally trust him. You are seeking for support. You may be sometimes focusing more on your career rather than relationship. In some way, you don't want to face the fact that you do not trust your boy friend that much.

See how you swift attention in dream, from boy friend to a stud and conversation with the boss. That is also attention seeking. You basically want more attention from your boy friend. But to you all he clears about is the things on the surface (terminology of the vow...) In dream, you may want to do the same thing as he did to you. Do you toenails. That is a symbol of revenge or switch attention. In translation, you may be afraid of handling the truth, the truth about your boy friend and how you trust him in reality.

You pretty much vent out how you feel about him in this dream

Most of what you dream is Symbolism. The boat symbolises movement or changes. The fact that your on this boat withb/f would indicate there are changes coming along for both of you.Part of this applies to the fact yourb/f didn't like some of the things that were said. That might apply in real life, he likes things done his way.The business with the stud and your toes;means you are been careful with the things that matter, even the small things. Your boss represents authority, and I think perhaps you don't like conforming very much. But at this stage, nothing suggests any problems. Good Luck!

Well, I don't claim to have much solid opinion to lay upon your question, as dream analysis is considered by many to be within the realm of parapsychology.

It is, however, often noted that when we are in dreams, our needs and subconscious desires are expressed. But we cannot always give events in dreams objective meaning, for instance, you marrying your boyfriend may or may not be one of your desires in the waking world, but it could express your conscious/subconscious desire to claim him further.

On the inverse, nightmares, or uncomfortable situations present within dreams, oft express your worries and/or anxieties about the waking world.

One interpretation, not to be taken out of context, or as a catalyst for change in your lifestyles; could be something along the lines of, the wedding on the boat could be symbolic of either pressures to attach, or problems attaching to your boyfriend.

Freud has published a book on interpreting dreams, but many of his theories, while helpful, are far off the mark still.

There are no truly, 100% accurate, objective ways or means to interpret dreams unfortunately, but we can definitely theorize.

Ferry
To dream that you are waiting for a ferry, signifies unforeseen circumstances might hinder your desires and wishes. It may also mean that you are going through some transitional phases in your life.

Vow
To dream that you are making a vow, represents a promise that affects others. The dream may be trying to reaffirm such promises and the fear of letting others down. In particular, to dream that you are listening or making marriage vows, signifies a commitment to your life partner

Toes
To see your toes in your dream, represents how you move and walk through life with such grace and poise (or there lack of). Alternatively, toes may also represent the minor detail of life and how you deal with them.

Piercing
Less symbolically, dreams of getting pierced, may just be your waking desire or anxiety on getting pierced.

that is weird, yet, some things like that happen to me, because once i had a dream i was on a motorcycle and my friends were on one to and we were being chased with dudes in yellow suites, as in buisness suites. Anway, after we got home and the chasers had disapeared, this guy next to us said, you can always get more chickens by saying follie or lollie or something, but you can never wish for a bigger barn. No idea what that means.

There will be seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. I don't know about the toe, but the dream may mean that you think that your boyfriend isn't interested into entering into marriage.
