okay, so last night i had this wierd dream where i was first of all, not there in body, but i could just see waht was going on. i was looking out of a window (not my window) out onto a street. i witnessed a car crash involving about seven cars, all one after the other. they all were complete write-offs, i could see that. then i was transported to the scene, and i had to look at all of the mangled bodies of people who died in this crash, and every one of them was someone i knew and loved... worst of all, i saw myself among the bodies strewn all over the road. and then it hit me that i was the one to cause the crash, that it was my fault all my loved ones had died. right then i wanted to scream, call 999 or just break down crying. as soon as it had begun it was over, and everything was black, in the darkness of sleep.
this dream really haunts me... what the hell does it mean???
thank you for listening. i really want to know what it means.

Looking through a window represents insight and attitude towards life. What you see out the window - whether it's a positive or negative view - suggests how optimistic or pessimistic you are in general.
Dreams about car crashes mean your beliefs or lifestyle are clashing with someone else's. It may also represent a recent shocking situation you were involved with.
Numbers remembered dreams often represent something deeply significant from the dreamer's real life. Try to relate the dream numbers to your real life and see where they match.
Dreams about death are not necessarily bad omens, but they usually represent anxious or angry feelings. To dream of your own death is actually positive - it means renewal and letting go of an old stage of life. This is also a common dream when you are getting over an illness - and it's a good sign that you are getting better. To dream of a death frequently signifies news of a birth. To be aware of a dead person you cannot identify foretells an inheritance which may not be personal, but could be indirectly beneficial to you.
If you dream of being disemboweled (where your guts fall out of your stomach), this means you feel like your strength or ability to stand up for yourself is being attacked. Alternately, consider the common phrase "you have a lot of guts."
To dream that you feel guilty about something, relates to how you are handling your successes and failures in life. You may feel undeserving of your achievements, or on the other hand, you may feel that you have let others down. This dream can also symbolize repressed and negative feelings that you may have about yourself.

Looking out a window to the street (reflecting or gaining insight on a path you have taken) You may think people (your family, friends and loved ones) have "written you off". You feel you are in the middle of the situation which has caused what you see as harm to others. You are calling for help and are upset with the situation, but it looks dark to you. The seven in your dream could indicate in weeks, months or years that the situation has been going on.
Hope this helped.

i know how you feel about dreams like this, its annoying when noone gives proper answers so i looked up the meanings for you.
To dream that you are looking out the window, signifies your outlook on life, your consciousness, point of view, awareness, and intuition. You may be reflecting on a decision and seeking guidance. Or you need to go out into the larger world and experience life.
To dream that you are in a car crash (all i could find on it), indicates that your beliefs, lifestyle, or goals are clashing with another's. It may also represent a shocking situation or painful experience. Alternatively, car crashes may forewarn of your dangerous or careless driving habits
Seven signifies mental perfection, healing, completion, music and attainment of high spirituality. Additionally, you are unique and eccentric.
To see a corpse in your dream, represents an aspect of yourself that has died. Or it may mean that you are unexpressive. You have shut yourself down and are dead inside.
To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about him. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances. Alternatively, it indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life.
To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life.
Black symbolizes the unknown, unconscious, danger, mystery, darkness, death, mourning, hate or malice.
If the feeling in the dream is one of joy, blackness could imply hidden spirituality and divine qualities.
i hope these help and make some sense to you.

I used to have pretty vivid nightmares. They were brought on be a sedative perscribed to me by my therapist. Its called trazadone. Until than I didn't care to pay too much attention to dreams.
Well I think it means you found time to go onto yahoo answers. Your family is represented by us guys - in your dream they use your family to represent a family. The car crash part is obvious - mostly answers is an entertaining past time void of meaning. This is represented by the car crash.
So you see if your dream has any meaning, every option should be given equal weight. Even though one option might have some true meaning.

Try not to feel too bad about your dream. People with vivid imaginations can dream all sorts of things. I believe that dreams come from thoughts, or programmes we have seen, or just something that has impressed us. Then in some kind of weird way it forms into a sort of story, which is the dream.
Sometimes people who are a little unwell with a temperature or something have nightmares. I think it is just natures way of 'de-fraging your brain' sort out the things we worry about.

I think it is hard to interpret dreams with out knowing someone. But if I were to guess, I would say maybe you are afraid of somehow hurting, damaging, or letting down your friends and the dream is a representitive of that. Or maybe you are afraid of change because people do come and go. If you are a Senior in high school your friends are going to go... that is why knowing you would help. I would basically say, there is change coming in your life and you are afraid, or you are afraid of letting someone or multiple people down.

Don't eat cheese before bed. No, seriously, don't worry, we all have nightmares, so if u want to believe anything, then do that. Or just think 'hey, it's only a dream.' try not to get stressed before bed or watch a happy film or listen to calming music. Have a hot drink and try not to stay up too late.
Oh god, I really fancy a hot chocolate now... ;-)
Sweet dreams!

maybe there was something on the news or on tv about a car crash, it could have been yesterday or even months before that. You obviously feel guilty about something, it might be a big thing or a very small thing and your brain used the two informations.

it was just a dream sweetie. perhaps you are feeling badly about something to do with your friends and family? if you had an argument with someone, or if you felt you had let someone down, or if you felt unloved for a day - all of these things could bring on a dream like that.
just try to let it go and not worry about it. and if by chance you did do something you feel badly about, then fix it and your dream will go away!
