I had a dream that I went on a tour inside the house of a neighbor of my best childhood friend. The neighbor had just remodeled the inside of the house in a coastal look. (I work in and around houses a lot.)
Inside was beautiful. She had some large aquariums with very rare fish. Some of the fish looked brightly colored and beautiful, but some were dull and kinda creepy but cute looking. Like Mark Ryden fish, for any art ppl. All of the fish were very small.
In one aquarium, there was a larger fish that looked like an orange tabby kitten, around age 6-9 mo. Or maybe it was really a slimy-looking kitten in the water, b/c I remember thinking, "how can he breathe in there?"
The childhood friend mentioned above had an orange tabby kitten at one time when we were young.
What do you think this bizarre dream means?

The house represents you, your temporal and spiritual body. Remodeling the house means that you have likely been working on self improvement. Coastal relates to water, which signifies emotion for many of us. You are beautiful on the inside (inside was beautiful) Fish can represent spirituality. Therefore, I will say that you may be working on the spiritual side of yourself and some aspects of this side are going swimmingly (beautiful and colorful fish) but there are other areas that you may feel still need work (some of the fish were dull and creepy) These areas are small things (creepy but cute) but you still need to work on it to improve it.There is one area in particular you feel you need to focus on (the larger fish) in which you think you are being immature (6 to 9 months). The thought, "How can he breathe in there?" probably means you don't understand how you have been able to function in the environment this "big fish" or spiritual flaw, has caused.

to dream of many beautiful fish in an aquarium means prosperity and Love is coming. your childhood friend means someone from your past and a remodeled home mean total change in your life or this person from your past.

i think your mind got tired of seeing all those houses. i think your mind thought up an interesting house because it was inspired by all those houses you saw. the kitten/fish thing you saw represented your desire for something different. perhaps you long for a unique design or expirence. but thats what i think your dream means.
