Had a dream last night. Something was sticking out of my belly button. I thought it was fuzz from my sweatshirt. Reached down to pull it out and it disappeared back into my belly. It also felt squishy. Not good, I thought. It popped back out and I grasped it and pulled. Slowly I pulled and it came out. And came out some more. Egads, I thought - must be an intestinal worm. No wonder I havn't been feeling good. Even though it tried going back in, I got it all the way out. And it looked like a snake, not a worm. It was beautiful though - for a snake, if you like those things. Which I don't, but I still had to acknowledge it's beauty. It was pink and white. I called my brother to come and dispose of it. (Don't live with brother - live with estranged husband) My brother went away with the snake. Later he told me he flushed it down the bathtub drain. Oooh, I thought with a nagging feeling - it's not dead - it could come back up out of that drain & find me again. Thanks all

This is difficult to answer not knowing more about what is going on in your life. However, the snake seems to be a symbol of conflict inside you. You seem to want to be rid of this, but you fear it coming back. I would suggest that you are in conflict about something in your life which is not necessarily totally unpleasant, but something about which you are have some fear of doing or undertaking, perhaps like starting a family, job or a relationship. As I said, it would make more sense to know more about you so I apologize if this is off base.
The important part of this dream is that your brother, clearly someone you trust, takes this away but then flushes it down the bathtub drain: the bathtub is clearly a two way hole, a way in which the "snake" can disappear, but also reappear and, as you say, "find you." I suggest that this is representative of something you seek to get rid of in your life, by whatever means, but find those means ineffective in keeping whatever it was you wanted to go away. this could be unwanted thoughts, spiritual notions or even sexual attitudes. If these things don't ring a bell, then it's probably time to consult someone who works in dreams as a professional.

There was an old book on dreams, astral projections, and the like, which I read many years ago. The writer had a section on the effects of food on subjects or objects you see in your dreams. He said that beans and a variety of common kitchen spices will induce dreams of snakes and related things.

The fickle effect of food has been known for a long time. Consider the scene in Dicken's Christmas Carol, Scrooge thinks he is dreaming when the ghost of his dead partner Marley. Scrooge says, "I fear you are more gravy than grave", going on to say that it was a result of some of his dinner not setting well.

You are okay.

I think the snake really is an imbillical cord (sorry for spelling), and you've broken away from home in some way (maybe you moved away, maybe you aren't keeping in touch with your mother anymore, maybe she no longer helps you financially, anyways it has something to do with your mom) you hand it over to your brother, because maybe now he's become closer to your mother since you left/became distant/ are financially stable, but now even your brother doesn't need your mom's help. And the feeling that it can come back again, is the feeling that you can revamp your close relationship with your mother.

Snake is symbolic of deception, lies, or deceit. Your stomach represents as aspect of you which digests the issues which you come in contact with life. Of course, not all issues are good. But your dream means that you have been living with or trying to digest a deception in your life. The deception was appealing and beautiful to you, but you finally got rid of it. But there is a fear that it could come back to you.

No one can see Allah in His Original form, not even prophets. But Allah does appear with His face hidden to some people. In fact this is the last age and Allah wants to save as many people as possible from hell fire. The only condition is your willingness. It is a reminder for you to be a faithful Muslim and adhere to Allah's code of conduct, contained in holy Quran. May Allah continue His favor to you.
