Do you think gas, energy, Comcast cable, rent, homes prices, bank charges, health care, tolls, fees, education, day care, food prices are only going up 2%. Or do you think Bernanke is crazy?

In general magazines for women revolve around making men happy. On the other hand men's magazines have a few words on their pages about women. Some of them will feature a woman on the cover in a sexy pose, but their magazines will almost never focus on how to communicate with women, how to win women over, or have any of the types of articles women’s magazines tend to have on the opposite sex, like "Cosmopolitan".

How is possible that this continues still today in the twenty first century? And what is sad is that there is a big market for this kind of reading material.

What happened to a feminist magazine (don't remember the name) that was quiet successful during the 80/90's (I think Gloria Steinman was on of the directors, but not sure about this)???

Are there some women's magazines that you know about that do not talk about "how to get a man in 15 minutes and such (lol)?

Multiple questions in one, sorry.

I've always been extremely ticklish, especially if the person tickling me is either holding me down while tickling me or the person tickling me has long fingernails. I dunno which is worse, LOL! However, over the years I've come to realise that my ticklishness can be used to my advantage. I discovered that if somebody tries to tickle me & I don't trust them physically, they somehow CAN'T tickle me. When someone I don't trust tries to tickle me, I immediately feel something in my body saying, "I don't want to be tickled by this person. I don't," and somehow they can't. Therefore, if I told a person I trusted them, they tried to tickle me & got no reaction, it would mean that I was lying. However, if a person I trust physically as well as emotionally, tries to tickle me, they succeed & have me screaming with laughter, LOL! Has anybody else ever felt like this too or am I just a unique, weird person, LOL?!
I'm going to submit another tickle question if you think you can answer.

Health Care, Credit Card debt, Mortgages, Cars and Groceries; nothing is affordable anymore.

Once upon a time a middle class family could afford to pay their bills without resorting to credit cards and/or loans. And only one person had to work in the average family forty years ago.

The United States is turning into Mexico - made up of only rich and poor, with a pesky middle class that is an endangered species.

Our standard of living is under attack, yet no one is doing anything about it.

The rich, just as they always have, don't care about anyone else's economic misery. If they lose a few domestic customers for their products, they can always export.

Is the middle class doomed to extinction? What will happen to the U.S.A. once we're gone?

Hypothetical scenario:

You have a young child, they are due to start school. You are allowed to choose their teacher. There are two candidates, and the only information you have is that one is a man and one is a woman. Who would you choose?

Come on, be decisive, this your child!

Rep. David Almond, Republican-North Carolina, resigned from the House this week after "expos[ing] himself in front of a female employee and chas[ing] her around the room, yelling 'Suck it, baby, suck it.' ... Almond was the vice chairman of the House committee on children, youth and families" (http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/56796/ ). Why does this not surprise me. Doesn't it just make you feel safer to know these are the types of men making laws and decisions about *children* and *families*?

I have had to work with someone for a couple of years now, and since she arrived she has taken over almost all of the jobs that I used to do. She has stayed behind a number of times and complained that I made her feel akward about doing certain jobs and I was then told ," to just let her do these things from now on "!! . I have been there a good few years before she arrived and now I feel like a spare part. She has even muscled in one the one and only job I had left to myself. If she crawls any further up the boss's backside there is a chance she will get stuck!!!
What would you say would be the best way to deal with someone like her, I am not a violent person, but sometimes I just want to knock her out!!!

I was in a summer research program that was suppose to last 8 weeks but after 5 weeks I was taken out. apparently someone stole equipment from the lab and I was there at the time but I did not take it. Even though there is no proof that I did it those that were over the research used excuses such as that I had problems completing lab experiments even though I did well in the last 2 weeks and I did had problem in the first 3 weeks due to lack of lab experiment which I told them. I am suppose to go back home by plane tomorrow and am angry how should I deal with it?

I dated a guy a couple of times and he was not right mentally. If I ordered a sandwich I was "all over the sandwich maker" even with a tall counter between us. My friend's husband who I can't stomach pulled up a chair to talk and he was "all over me". I was "doing" my gay male friends. He screamed that I was a liar and cheating and the town tramp yet I know he didn't believe it because he always keeps trying to contact me. How would he be described?

For the last month I have been having dreams that are hilarious. They are funnier than any sitcom or TV I have ever seen and many times I wake up laughing.

I plan to get a pen and paper near my bed so I can write some of the dream description, but I always forget and I quickly forget the storyline anyway.

Is this good or bad? Any idea?

You mean to tell me that even in todays society with highly advanced technology people still believe their dreams are more then the activity of the subconscious mind working through what it perceives.

To those looking to understand the dreams as to why you would dream about a certain issue I appologize, this is not meant for you.

But for you moronic idiots who believe that dreams have some deeper meaning you really need to get a life.

The stuff I've accomplished early this week feels like I dealt with this stuff two weeks ago. Is it just me or does anyone feel the same. Why is that?

No, I am not crazy.
