I think that it depends on the person, if they are a morning person, or a night person. Some people can function the best in the morning, some after they have had a couple hours, in the afternoon, and some people can't really function until the evening time. Depends on your circadian rhythm, I think.

Dawn time is good for deep thinking
connected with meaning of actions,
analysis and understanding. It is also
good for philosophical and spiritual
analysis.
Dusk time is good for creative work
like composing music, writing of
poems or stories, and painting.

Mine kicks in about 8am after I have been awake for a couple of hours. But if I am manic then it seems to be a 3am LOL!
