Say I drink a bottle of spring water. I don't finish it all and there is about 1/4 left. So I put the cap back on and throw it in the trash. The garbage man comes buy and takes my garbage away to the dump. My closed bottle of water is still among all of the trash laying in the dump. This means it will remain in the bottle and not be recycled back into the air. Now imagine if I drank 12 bottles of water a week and did this with all of them. Now picture 3 million other people similiar to me. Could this be a serious way of wasting drinking water? And of course I know you're supposed to recycle but many people don't.

this has happened to me and it was soooo embarrassing! i was just about to get into the shower and there was a pounding at the door. Hubby answered it and two cops were there. They asked to see the lady of the house and I came into the living room. I said " yes?" and one asked if I was being abused? I said," No,why?" then they said they got a call from a " concerned" neighbor, saying i was being abused. I said, "No,i am a screamer,and it was good!" and hubby blushed, and so did the cops. has this ever happened to you?

This is a problem that is serious to me, and I would very much appreciate it if anyone else out there has any knowledge of this type of occurrance, and if so, please answer - also, serious answers only? Thanks.

I've asked several M.D.'s and even a psychiatrist about this and they have all sort of minimized the problem. But, it really is a problem because if I have an appointment or anywhere I must be on time, I am afraid to go to sleep the night before unless I have someone with me I can count on to wake me up.

If anyone has had this problem, or knows someone who has, please let me know what info you have. (Also, nothing to do with alcohol, drugs, not sleeping, etc... this has been ongoing since I had to be to kindergarden.

In the US people seem to express their standing or success by the type of vehicle they drive. I seem to see fewer people driving BMW's and SUV's in the UK and more small compact vehicles, regardless of their job or income.

I have just enterd 9th grade in a big public school, my old school was a christian school but still laid back school from K-12 and had about 450 students total though this highschool proably has about a thousand students or more and is new to me. I was very respected and everyone liked me in my old school because i won thier respect by defeting a racist teacher who was discramintaing against everyone but i was the only one bold enough to confront her and cause her to quit making me the hero though in my new school i have to prove who i am agian, the easist way is to win a fight but i dont want to mess up my record because i wanna get into a good college, and its hard to make friends in a school where know one knows you so my question is how do i show that i am the big man on campus or atlest big freshman on campus, without getting me in trouble with the teachers? i am ok at sports im not great but i dont suck im average and average isnt what i want.
