The backward glance and snickering! Why in the world do they do this!? I've never done it! It pisses me off.

Fear not Wild child...you are not the only one it pisses off! Girls can be cruel. The only saving grace is to realize that there must be SOMETHING about you that they are jealous of...Think about it. Whatever it is , it is their KRYPTONITE, their only weakness. Use it against them! The only way that they can feel superior to you(because they know deep down they aren't) is to make you feel inferior someway. The glance and snicker is old as time. Just glance back, give them your most dazzling smile and, if provoked,tell them to kiss your ***! :)

Maybe they're not even focused on you. When I was younger and in a crowd laughing, sometimes people were under the impression I was laughing or talking about them when I wasn't, because I'd say it to their face. But then again, before that, when girls were in a crowd and laughing I sometimes assumed it had something to do with me. Just pay it no mind.. girls will be girls, you know that. =P

Many times... they don't even know that you are there.... they never talked about you. If they did talk about you it's probably something stupid. Like when you call someone fat, just so you would feel skinnyer.... even though you might be a beached whale yourself.

Yah they could be gelous but thats not your probelem, duck butter honey, duck butter. Insecurity could be another reason...pretty soon you'll feel so good you won't notice. Smile them on it drives them crazy...ha ha.

i guess they are insecure and they might have an inferiority complex. they can't accept the fact that they have it.... they are in denial... so they use projection and you happen to be the target!!!
