What is the worst bad dream you've ever had?

dreamed I was looking up at the sky and a strange blimp/bomb looking thing was there, except at first it didnt make me think of a bomb . .. but then it got close to the ground like it was going to hit and then it reminded me of a bomb.

Then it was like people around me were trying to guess what kind of bomb it was. Someone guessed chemical bomb as it hit the ground and smoke started pouring out; it was reddish or greenish smoke I think. Then I was looking at my ex and he was running away from it into the city; the bombs were going off in a pasture.

He ran through the streets and alleys and I wanted to follow him for some reason, almost like I had kind of a crush on him. I followed him for awhile and then there was a plot part of the dream I dont remember, that was in a kind of underground stone room where I was waiting for someone but they never showed up or something.

Then I had a vague impression of a girl I had a class with as I was waking up, and also as I was waking up while my eyes were still closed a girl’s voice on tv sounded like someone I went to high school with who wanted to go to college in NY. So after I woke up I got scared that Orlando (where my ex was), Baltimore (near where I took a class), and New York were gonna be hit by chemical bombs soon by people on the space station!! Still a little shook up but now it doesnt seem quite so real and impending

i have seen a lot of nightmares that i cannot forget. the worst one: i was going up the stairs and it was pitch black and then i realized that i am dreaming (and after that, i had many many lucid dreams), i wanted to wake up but i couldnt, i was like stuck between life and dream, one second i was on my bed and then on the stairs - and the worst thing was that i knew that i will see something really scary if i cannot wake up. i struggled for a long time (or so it appeared to me) and could wake up before i saw what was hidden in the dark. i still fear to see the end of that dream one day.

I was storming the beach at normandy and al michaels was calling the play-by-play. I remember finding a shield made out of cardboard, so i picked it up all the while thinking, "oh, this isn't gonna stop a goddam thing". Now I'm advancing only staring at the cardboard 3 inches from the tip of my nose, waiting to see a bullett (or two) punch through the cardboard into my torso.

I had that dream 13 years ago and it's still vivid.

This is going to sound really weird, but once I dreamt I was walking up from my basement. The top leads straight to my front door. As I walked up, I noticed the door was open. I went over to close it, but then this guy in a bunny suit walked in and started dancing around in my house! If you've ever seen Donnie Darko, that's what the bunny looked like. It doesn't sound scary, but I could not get to sleep at all after that. It scared me like crazy.

I've had a few. One I can remember was being at my grandma's condo on her balcony and it just collapses. Of course I woke up right before hitting the ground from her 14th floor. I also had a dream that I murdered somebody (which I would never do) and I was running from the police. I can't remember how it ended.

It was again seeing my exhusband and now it has come true 33 years later, plus he does not know the meanings of either marriage or divorce and now he wants to come home. Does the dream part in the beginning count for i call it a nightmare that has come true. For the last year he has been telling me he has come home and I tell him to dream on.

well this happened last x-mas vacation while i was asleep on the couch so dont laugh. i dreamed that i was an elf helping goofy and minny mouse wrap a gift for pluto cuz minny was cheating on micky for him and goofy thought pluto was nicer than micky. we were wrapping the gift on a pile of 500 mattresses and i went to reach for the scissors and tape and i fell off the side. then i woke up.

oh my gosh ive have had this one sparadically since the fifth grade! where im at school and theyre are zombies and heads/ headless people and ug just walking all around. I was scared to go back to school....i just had the same exact dream two weeks ago and im 20 and in college scary

many years ago, whilst i was pregnant with my daughter, i dreamed of a daughter about 4 years old falling off a 2nd floor railing onto the floor of the atrium at our local hospital. she was broken and bleeding far below me and did not survive the fall. i didn't know at the time my baby would be a girl but i never forgot that dream. i was so relieved when we celebrated her 5th birthday.

I was running from these dark entities and just as a jumped into my car to escape one was under the car and grabbed my foot. Scared the hell out of me and woke up real quick.

When i was 4 or 5 i had a dream where a goat bit off by socks and shoes. It hurt my toes. ( Hey, it was scary at the time!!!)
