I have just enterd 9th grade in a big public school, my old school was a christian school but still laid back school from K-12 and had about 450 students total though this highschool proably has about a thousand students or more and is new to me. I was very respected and everyone liked me in my old school because i won thier respect by defeting a racist teacher who was discramintaing against everyone but i was the only one bold enough to confront her and cause her to quit making me the hero though in my new school i have to prove who i am agian, the easist way is to win a fight but i dont want to mess up my record because i wanna get into a good college, and its hard to make friends in a school where know one knows you so my question is how do i show that i am the big man on campus or atlest big freshman on campus, without getting me in trouble with the teachers? i am ok at sports im not great but i dont suck im average and average isnt what i want.

I really don't see why you have to top an event that happened in your old school .Just be yourself and don't try to "prove" something . Others can tell and will resent that .It might seem as boasting , when one is trying to be BMOC .If you don't want to be average at sports-put all your energy into perfecting a sport you like . Winning a fight can alter your entire life . What if the other guy happens to trip & bump his head and die during the fight ? It can and does happen ? Think about it , and don't try prove you're the man . Real men don't have to prove it . They just are . Good luck .

Be yourself and be patient. You are already made up of the right stuff. Life WILL throw some challenge your way. Don't you worry about that. Count your blessings for the peace you have now. Then when the challenge does arise, be prepared to rise up to meet it. Keep reading your Bible because you know it won't be something you would expect. But that way you will be ready.
