What does it mean to you? / Does it have a meaning?

just want to gather info from a vast group to compare what everyone believes/ doesn't believe within themselves...

One day you die. Then when you're about to go to the otherworld, There are two gates, one leads to heaven and the other to hell. Each gate has a guard standing next to it. You are told that one guard ALWAYS tells the truth and the other guard ALWAYS tells a lie. Now, without knowing which gate leads to heaven or which gate leads to hell, and, without knowing which guard is telling the truth and which one is telling a lie, what question will you ask in order to determine which guard is telling the truth and which one is telling the lie AND which gate leads to either heaven or hell? You are allowed to ask only one question, and then you have to make a choice on which gate to go into.. Your aim of course is to get to heaven.. = )

Such a simple thing that many cannot bring themselves to accomplish. This question is not asked out of anger, I am merely curious.

(BTW..."Life is hard" is not a valid reason in my book)

Why is it, if someone has African American blood in them, they are black? Why not white? I mean they share the same amount of blood, in a really non-medical way.

Do you think Wal-Mart is hurting the capitalist market. How can Wal-Mart set prices. Supply & Demand no more?
To keep their prices low they require other companies to either lower their prices, outsource, or eliminate their product. Wal-Mart decides for these other companies what the ingredients can be. Wal-Mart told Coke cola our way or the highway. What is going to happen when Wal-Mart buys out all the other retailers; and then refuse to carry the product you or I want? We are being censored and most are not aware. I'd suggest that people read in the July edition of Harper's Magazine. Barry Lynn writes an Essay which I have found to be exactly what Wal-Mart is doing.

What is the best way to meet people these days? There seems to be many different dating sites and services out there. I’m not really interested in testing the waters in all of them to find which one is the best. I rather hear from others which one they preferred and why.

Even if you don’t do the internet dating thing then how are you meeting people of how did you meet your love one? Office? Church? Drive Through Window?

The best true love story I ever heard was told by my grandfather. During WWII he saw a picture of my late grandmother in a yearbook. His bunkmate who happened to be my grandmother’s cousin had brought his High school yearbook with him. My grandfather saw the picture wanted to meet her and the rest is history.

I don’t think anyone is doing that love at first look thing anymore. It’s seems more to be please fill out the forms and state your romantic intentions. Or the, "How you doing," approach.

I've been reading conflicting viewpoints about credit bubbles and manias. I certainly don't believe the claim that "all credit bubbles end in deflation", as the recent cases of Argentina and Indonesia are clear evidence that credit bubbles can end in hyper-inflation.

However, I'm wondering what major factors are responsible for post-bubble deflation vs. inflation. Any thoughts or links would be much appreciated!
