In 1968 I was looking for a job in the Press industry here, but found that -

1: You couldn't get a job unless you had a Union Card.

2: You couldn't get a Union Card unless you had a job in the 'Press' arena.

Then, In 1969 I began a job in the Health sector where after a time I found out that my female colleagues were paid a low rate than I was.

This seemed ‘unfair’ to me, but then, I was 19 and what did I know about Life and the way things were run in the Big Wide World.

When I’d been a student I’d stumbled onto the U.N. Declaration Of Human Rights, and at some point picked up on the word 'Discriminatory.' I tried asking people about this unfair and discriminatory set of factors, but no one I spoke to knew about it or had an answer to it for me.

It seemed to me that if the Signatory Members of the Declaration of Human Rights were believers in these Rights, then Why Were They Not Statutory Law….?

No one knew …but then, I guess I just never asked the Right people these questions (I didn’t know who they were anyway, then.).

If you are being discriminated against, in your perception of it, then you have the Legal redress to challenge it.

Just as an Example.....
Here in the Uk recently, was a case of a Veterinary Nurse who’d had a stroke, and as a result had become blind. As a result, so the story goes, she was in effect, forced out of her job. I’m not a Vet and so can’t say how it would effect both me and my business to have someone such as a blind nurse working for me (my natural assumption is that it could be very dangerous). But......!

These things are not always so Black n White ~
have you ever seen someone who's blind play darts! or deaf people dance! ~ as they might at first seem to be ~ and problematic as a result.

Life can be full of surprises ....like a blind boat builder in Cornwall, UK. A blind botanist (UK), and the deaf (Scottish - renowned but whose name escapes me at the moment!) percussionist.

Regards.

The simple truth is, women in any area of discussion are under-appreciated and under-paid. Men can't deal with the fact, that this is a woman's world, and it makes their ego shrink. So they'll do anything to hurt us women.

According to what data? This is a "straw-man" argument feminists have used for years. They compare "total" numbers of men and women and compare it to TOTAL wages paid for both.

This gives two seemingly diverse numbers that do NOT take into account women work more "part-time" jobs and temp jobs than men do.

For COMPARABLE jobs there is PARITY ...

well various reasons-they don't perform well on the "three days" everymonth. in case of married women with children they take leave when their children are sick or the husband is sick and even during post-delivery and pregnancy.they don't like travelling long distances leaving their families;they don't feel safe at nights.don't prefer shift based works;these are some of the reasons why women are under-paid.

A woman with a certain job title is, on average, six years younger than a man with the same job title. That is definitely a factor.

Because feminists would rather complain about how little they're paid than sit in a job and get a raise.
