"A student asked, "since electric potential is always proportional to potential energy, why bother with the concept of potential at all?"How would you respond."

This is how the question asked in my book [UNIVERSITY PHYSICS].So how do you respond to this question?

Momentum is the product of mass & velocity; therefore, photons must have mass, however minute. If there is mass to light waves, why not mass to the whole range of the electromagnetic spectrum? Could that mass result in measurements of "dark matter" which is not visible and is unknown in its nature?

This "trick" invovles quickly pulling a table cloth from under plates. One would expect the plates to move with the table cloth but in reality the plates stay in their original position.

I know in terms of Physics this has to do with the plate's inertia, but my teacher wants a more advanced explanation.
Please give a more advanced explanation in terms of physics

The famous E=mc2 equation seems to suggest that every atom contains great energy, not only atoms of elements that are highly radioactive and thus dangerous to handle. What barriers prevent us from using "safe" elements like iron to generate nuclear energy?

I heard that the universe/space-time was a hypersphere ....

.
If the universe was finite...then there must be a boundary obviously between the outside of this hypersphere and the inside...

So if it were somehow possible to rip a hole in space-time...and step outside of this hypersphere...

????

Could I exist...is this even possible

Is it possible to rip space-time...I don't really understand what it is...I understand two building blocks --particles and waves...I'm having trouble understanding what this spacetime really is

then why would 2 stars orbiting each other not gain energy? If gravity traveled at the speed of light (sol) they would gain energy because of the delay in the sol. Draw a picture if you don't see it. This violates the law of conservation of energy. What is your answer? Newton calculated the orbits of all the planet using instantaneous gravity, and so far none have been lost.
