SI unit for mass is kg

1000 µg = 1000 x10^-6 g = 1 x 10-6 kg (0.000001 kg)

40000m (meter is SI unit for distance)

They are already SI units.

1000 ug is also 1 mg, so that would be a better answer.

40 km is 40 km. Perhaps the questioner wants 40000m, but if that is so, it's a pretty odd sort of question. After all, if a town is 40 km away, who would ever say 'The town is 40000 m away'? Daft if you ask me.
