The charges and coordinates of two charged particles held fixed in an xy plane are q1 = +2.5 µC, x1 = 4.0 cm, y1 = 0.50 cm, and q2 = -4.0 µC, x2 = -2.0 cm, y2 = 1.5 cm.
(a) Find the magnitude of the electrostatic force on q2.
i got that to be 24.2 N
(b) Find the direction of this force.
° (counterclockwise from the +x axis)
(c) At what coordinates should a third charge q3 = +4.0 µC be placed such that the net electrostatic force on particle 3 due to particles 1 and 2 is zero?

You are studying standing sound waves in an organ pipe of length L with both ends open. What wavelengths of sound can exist as standing waves in this pipe? Express your answer in terms of the length L.

For this I had lambda = (3L) / 2. The question also asks for an organ pipe of length L with one end open and one end closed but I don't know (maybe 5L / 2??).

Bond is standing on a bridge, 10m above the road below. He spots a flatbed truck loaded with mattreses approaching at 30m/s, which he measures that the telephone poles the truck is passing by are 20m apart. The bed of the truck is 1.5m above the road, and Bond quickly calculates how many poles away the truck should be when he jumps down the bridge onto the truck. How many poles is it?

Please show all work too, I am really confused. Thanks!

1. Jules Verne in 1865 proposed sending men to the Moon by firing a space capsule from a 220-m-long cannon with final speed of 10.97 km/s. What would be the unrealistically large acceleration experience by the space traverlers during the launch.( A human can stand an acceleration of 15g for a short time.)
2. An aircraft has a lift-off speed of 120 km/h. What minimum constant acceleration does this require if the aircraft is to be airborn after a takeoff run of 240m.
3. A train is traveling down a track at 20m/s when the engineer applies the brakes, resulting in an acceleration of -1.0m/s squared as long as the train is in motion. How far does the train move during a 40s interval starting at the instant the brakes were applied?
4. A mailbag is released from a helicopter that is descending steadily at 1.5m/s. After 2.00s, (a) what is the speed of mailbag (b) how fart is it below the helicopter (c) what would be the answers to A and B if the helicopter was going up at speed of 1.5m/s

Suppose i am travelling on a photon , sitting on it , now as my speed is equal to C , the time gets dilated for me and becomes INFINITE , what does this actually mean ?

Does it means that TIME does not exist for me , no hours, no minutes & no seconds with respect to a stationary observer , but if i have an observer besides me sitting on a photon with a watch which is moving with speed c then the intervals of time will exist for me

I see no problem with this combination. Since the scientific community has yet to explain the Big Bang Theory, which goes against all know laws of physics...Bodies at rest, tend to stay at rest...so what caused the Big Bang. Then we have the matter of our brain. How could evolution explain the fact that we only use 10% of our brain's capacity? What kind of natural selection could cause this phonomia? With an Intelligent Design all the answers are quit simple. With Intelligent Design time is no longer an issue so it could take billions and billions or years and it wouldn't matter. Have set rules and set back and let them evolve. With Alpha Omega there is no beginning and no end. The whole universe is totally amazing. Let's relax and enjoy it.
