Displacement D= sqrt(Dx^2+Dy^2)
Angle= arcTan(Dy/Dx)

x1=180cos(90-68.0) (if I properly understood your "68.0 east of north")'
y1=180sin(90-68.0)
similarly
x2= 240 cos(48.0)
y2= 240 sin(48.0)

Dx=x1+x2
Dy=y1-y2

a simple triangle
one leg at 68 degrees for 180km
one leg at 138 degrees for 240km
complete the rectangle and solve for the unknown side
