I am stuck on this problem and would be really greatful with any help on it. I got part A, but cannot figure out part B.

An electric car is designed to run off a bank of 12.0 V batteries with a total energy storage of 1.90 x 10^7 J.

a) If the electric motor draws 6.00 kW, what is the current delivered to the motor (in A)? I know that this is 500 A.

b) If the electric motor draws 6.00 kW as the car moves at a steady speed of 20.0 m/s, how far will the car travel before it is out of juice (in km)?

I heard you can drop a cat from any height and it will survive, because its terminal velocity is lower than the speed at which it can hit the ground unhurt. Can anybody confirm or refute this, because it can't be true, or can it?

It is common knowledge and obvious from observation that this is always the case but where does the physical reason lie? - in terms of contact, angular momentum etc.?

Would it also be the case with collisions involving non-spherical objects? - eg. a cube and a plane surface.

A rifle is used to shoot twice at a target, using identical cartridges. The first time, the rifle is aimed parallel to the ground and directly at the center of the bull's eye. The bullet strikes the target at a distance of HA below the center, however. The second time, the rifle is similarly aimed, but from 4.5 times the distance from the target. This time the bullet strikes the target a distance of HB below the center. Find the ratio of HB/HA.

When solving this problem I started out by working with the Ha part first and found the variables. X-R Vx-V y=Ha Voy a=-9.80m/s^2 t=?

Hb X=4.5R Vx=V Voy=0 a=-9.80 y=? t=?

Then i solved for time for Ha and for Hb
Time Ha=R/V
Time Hb=4.5R/V

then I used the kinematic equation and plugged in time for Ha and Hb

I ended up with 1/2*(9.80m/s^2)(R/V^2)
& Hb=-4.9m/s^2 (4.5R/V)^2


Im not sure what to do next...I know I need to find the missing variables but I'm not sure how to go about that! Please can you help me.

us the stars we see them & they are light years away the sun is so large compared to earth nwe should be able to see some light if we look right or left can i get afew answers on this
i know the earth cast a shadow but that doesnt account for why we cant see the light going past us i have done a test with a pin head & a torch its clear to me the pin head didnt stop the light pas ing the head of the pin the torch wasnt on ascale as the sun it was much smaller tr it can someone come up with the right answer please

when a car comes to a stop sign , it runs over a metal plate almost like a scale and the weight of the car spins a generator
the result is enough clean electric to power 4 homes
high traffic areas , could power a huge amount of homes
also faradays machine, even on you tube but usa will not give these people a patent

In other words does all form of energy, including massless particles like photons, create a gravity field.
